I was wondering if anyone has unfortunately had to do a resit on A&P - i think I may have to..... can someone clear up something that I have heard....on the re-sit there are only 20 questions instead of the 50 is this right????

Sorry, But on a resit, whatever the paper you have failed be it A+p, Business, or modality you will have to sit a complete paper which will be the 50! As I tell all my students, put the books away for at least 6 weeks and then have a look through, if the results are not good, you will be amazed at how much you will have retained over the rest period, just print off questions others have set on here and do the paper, then look up the answers afterwards, but hey, be positive you might not have failed:)

Hiya 3091, thank you for your reply.....I am relieved to hear that the re-sit is the same as the actual exam. Somehow 20 questions seem much harder to answer than 50 - hard to expain, but i know what i mean!!!! I know I should have more confidence, but i really do think I have failed. So if i have I shall take your advice and wait until I get the results then start revising again. Thanks again

dont worry until the result arrive - all being well you will have passed
if for some reason you havent (I took 3 goes to pass!) then try this site to get you into the itec frame of mind
it gives you the answers straight away, there are 4 x 50 questions

In my experience, people who failed their A&P first time seemed to be far more applied second tme around and the results often seem to be very good indeed!
Press on - it'll all be worth it!

quite agree, I am far more confident now, I ended up with 78% for my
A & P paper giving me a Credit overall
as I said before, dont give it any more time until the results arrive, clear your mind and relax.

hi there,
just looking through the threads.
I failed my A&P first time and was so upset, but got through it second time.
I will just say i found it very hard but after the second time i can remember more now than i did after the first time.
mine was vtct which exam did you take? you might have passed anyway !!!
keep going dont give up if you havent, i got through and just passed my swedish massage now going on to Aromatherapy soon...... so glad kept going on now
