RE: UFOS

Oh, I see! I now have the paper. It's a 2-page review of Tim Good's latest book, and not negative at all in the actual paper. The paper has no relationship to the online link!

It looks like a great new book: Tim Good in "Need To Know" documents very many military encounters with apparently alien aircraft. But it sounds as though this book is very different. The UFO phenomenon is often thought to have begun around 1947. From the book review, it seems as if Good concentrates on many UFO-military encounters from before and during WW II. I'll be getting it!

Me too! I got Unearthly Disclosure on your recommendation and it really is a good read. Look forward to this new one.

RE: UFOS

Interesting, caveman.

Such thinking is based upon the idea that other civilisations would be something roughly like our own, albeit less or more advanced. A great majority of UFO events indicate that we're quite different to all these creatures / people / civilisations. They don't use radio, fossil fuels, etc., etc., and many of these differences to us seem to be commonalities between themselves.

This is the science part of HP so I won't go into this, but the occult / esoteric viewpoint has it that there are many 'panes' and 'subplanes' of existence to each planet. So that even here on Earth there are untold kinds of lifeforms which aren't grossly physical in the way we are. This viewpoint has it that most or even all planets have life, but not at the same physical level as ourselves. For example, it may consist of subatomic particles in plasma form, not joined together into atoms.

RE: UFOS

Hello David,

I would disagree with your last paragraph when you say that 'esoteric viewpoints' aren't science. They very well could be part of quantum mechanics, which is little understood.

Personally speaking, I don't think that one can reallydivorce philosophy of this kind from science. They go hand-in-hand.

Love,
Patsy.
