RE: UFOS

Satori,

Great site, thanks. (Warning: it seemed however to be that site which gave me dodgy pop-ups, though I even have a blocker?)

caringsoul,

I saw two UFOs (two incidents) over Coventry too, but not worth describing as they were high and it was not spectacular at all. Certainly not man-made though.

RE: UFOS

Hello Fadette,

Well, I don't know to this day what happened in Burnley. I didn't think of aliens or UFOs - to me, it was just another experience, albeit a bit more 'odd' than I'd been used to, I am a medium and am not unused to strange experiences of this sort. I had always known that 'something' exists outside of our normal perceptions, and incidents like these, and ghostly sightings, etc just confirm that we are spiritual beings inside a physical body. I am also a scientist, and I like to know why things are, what could be the logical reason for an experience like this (and for alien sightings in general.) Some say that scientists have too logical a mind, but in my judgment a scientist has the best mind for receiving and perceving phenomena such as this. It means that he/she can discount the 'normal' and look for the unusual.

I don't know if those 'light beings' were aliens from outer space or not. I am still trying to find an answer.

Love,
Patsy.

Hello David.

Here is an interesting news item from today's 'Daily Mail.' It concerns UFOs and discusses them with a modicum of sense.

RE: UFOS

At the risk of sounding like Fox Mulder, I think this sums that article up pretty well...

Judy Jaafar, secretary of the British UFO Research Association, said: 'Even physicists studying plasma clouds do not fully understand them, so it is ridiculous for the Government to use a little known and poorly understood phenomena as the main explanation for most UFO sightings.'

She added: 'It may account for some, but by no means all.

'It does not explain incidents where ground trace evidence of UFOs has been left behind or where there is film footage of flying objects.

'The MoD will never release any documents that suggest there may be some mystery surrounding UFO sightings, but the simple fact is that some are mysterious.'

😮

RE: UFOS

A ridiculous statement and disinformation, yes. It takes them 4 years to come up with this? The same 'explanation' was being touted in the 1960s!

It offers no explanation whatsoever for the fact that most nations have had multiple and often dramatic military encounters with unknown craft of seemingly non-terrestrial origin. See for example the books of Timothy Good for the military secrecy surrounding this subject.

P.S. I also don't agree with the round number figures often touted that "99 percent" or "95 percent" of sightings are weather balloons, hoaxers, etc. I think the percentage of strange sightings is much higher, that of hoaxers much lower. There really is very little UFO hoaxing.
