Thanks Linda, Very true I have fond memories of poems from when I was a young. But only when I had my children did I begin to be reacquainted with these poems and build new memories...thats when I really start loving them!

I love this.This is really fab. It reminded me of something i recently viewed on utube. It is crickets and there song has been slowed down using some sort of formula along the lines of, if they were human they wuld speak at a certain speed. Have a listen to it there is certainly a link with your poems philosophy.

That was one of my favourite poems when I was little..soo cute 🙂
Awww! I knew this too as a song when I was little... the version I remember, though, has the "little one" at the end saying "Good night!" - and falling asleep comfortably, now having the whole bed to him/herself. As the "little one" in my own family, I always found it amusing! 😀
