Hi guys,
As I’ve been here a while and have recently got my new puppy (well she’s three months old now) I thought you might want to have a look at some of my little ones
Firstly, the puppy, a Miniature Long Haired English Shaded Cream Dachshund, she is lovely (and naughty) – we’ve called her Nell – there is a pic of her at 5 weeks on here too! [sm=sandrine.gif]
Then there’s Paddy (a big black & white tom), he's quite old, very loving but bit grumpy sometimes!! [&:]
Oz (a Staff / Jack cross) my grandson calls him his “cowdog” ‘cause of his black & white print … I’m sure he was a gay monk in a previous life (the dog, not the grandson :D) if you met him you’d know what I mean.
& finally, Brioney, a Black & Tan Miniature Long Haired Dachsie… she's a beautiful little girl
Oh! I’ve got some Koi which I adore too but none of that stuff’s on there…
If you have the time, see if you think Nell is as cute as we do…
Rgds,
Roger
RE: New Miniature Puppy
Wow, what stunning dogs! Nell is certainly a looker, love the puppy picture of her!
I do like the look of Oz though, I have a real soft spot for Staffies.

Hi roger
I never was a pram-peeper, but show me a puppy and I go absolutely ga-ga!!!
Thanks for sharing your lovely pix. Unfortunately, I only got to see the top 4, then it said "Done but error on page" at the bottom of my screen, and there were white outlines where more pix should have downloaded. Don't know if this is something you have any control over, but will come back later, as I'd love to see the rest.

PS: Just seen Doogle's post and now wondering if the problem's at my end???

RE: New Miniature Puppy
Hi Doogle and Holistic,
My apologies :), I didn't know what I was doing when I tried to build that web 'thingy' however, It should be much better now as I've learned how to change it to 'clickable' pages and is hopefully up and running now. But in the meantime, if you'd you like to have a look at the one that I learned how to do it on - As I'm feeling quite proud of myself ;), it's got a few of my 'OK' photos on?

Thanks Doogle, & yeah Nell really is very cute, but insists on trying to eat her own doodoo...[:'(] at the moment, although she seems to be growing out of it!
Oz (the Staff/Jack cross) is the strangest, gentlest & oddist dog I've ever owned - he really is almost human...[sm=dance.gif]

Hi Holistic,
Hope you liked my puppy too, she's gonna be a right posuer like her mother.
Sorry, I think the problem was they way I built the site (so not your 'puter) hopefully it's all sorted out - as I'm hoping you get to see my 'crew' [sm=dogrun.gif]

RE: New Miniature Puppy
I can't see your pics - it's saying that your site has exceeded it's quota. I think you've had too much traffic trying to look at your lovely dogs - they all sound gorgeous.
I've got a special spot for Staffs too - we've got 2 oldies and recently got a Staffie X American Bulldog pup - she's now 6 months old and is lovely - but a right terror!
RE: New Miniature Puppy
Hi
Roger - WOW!! Nell is absolutely gorgeous.. i dont usually like dachshunds but she is sooo adorable!!! Beautiful colouring.. enjoy your new puppy
Beanie - Ahhh the staffie x is lovely!! My mum wouldnt let me have one but thats the dog i want when i finally get a home of my own
LOL we should start up a puppy corner.. everyone seems to be getting them at the moment.
XF xx
RE: New Miniature Puppy
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I love the pics.
They are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute.
Did i read somewhere that you are in Buckingham. Me to. Hope to see the pups in the park.
RE: New Miniature Puppy
Yay! I managed to see them today - they are gorgeous!! Oz looks like my collie/lab in pictures - like he's done something wrong! Nell is beautiful. You say they're minature dachsunds - how big do they grow as compared to 'normal' dachsunds?
I'm with Holistic - I've never found my maternal side with babies but show me a puppy (or any baby animal really) and I'm away! That's how we ended up with Deva (the staffie X AB) - I saw the litter and couldn't resist!
XF Aww it's a shame your mum won't let you have one - but then it'll be something to really look forward to when you get your own place!
RE: New Miniature Puppy
Hi Guys,
Thanks for your lovely comments, & yes you're right Nell is well cute (and she knows it) - But I think I'm closer to Oz...:)
Beanie, Deva looks lovely, you didn't tell us the names of your other two? (perhaps we should have a "My Pets" thread - where every body can introduce their pets and perhaps Doogle can get it so that we can put the pictures on too??:D Re: Your question they are about 7-11lbs
Lynda, I'm in Maids Moreton... whereabouts are you?
Rgds,
Roger.
RE: New Miniature Puppy
I love all the photos![sm=1syellow1.gif] Little Nell looks beautiful. I adore all Dachshunds, especially miniature wire-haired ones. They're normally crazy but wonderful. Mine has been known to try and chase deer - how mad is that!?!
Good idea for a 'my pets' thread. Although I think I will never be away from HP if that happens as I'll be so busy looking at the photos of everyone's lovely pets![sm=dogrun.gif][sm=cat.gif]

RE: New Miniature Puppy
Hi Roger,
My other two are: Ben who's a collie/lab and will be 13 in September, and Olwyn who's a corgi and was 12 last month. We've only had Olwyn for just over 3 years - she was a Friskies food testing dog in her former life.
Wow - they only grow to 7-11lbs? Deva is already 42lbs and she's still growing! [:-]

LMAO at the image - noooo but maybe that's why she loves her food so much - it's a novelty to swallow it!!
