RE: Fleas

Once the fleas are gone, you keep applying it every month (or every two months in the very cold months) and it acts as a preventative.

Sounds expensive, do you buy it every month?

Holistic , does it automatically put that you are replying to the post before? I'm not a technical person so I'm not sure how it works. So here I might be replying to myself. oooooooer.

We were offered either a six month or three month supply. We took the six month, I'm not sure how much it cost because we had to pay for other treatments at the same time. Our cat is allergic to flea bites and comes out in scabs which bleed, so we also had to pay for an anti-inflammatory injection. We figured buying six months worth was worth the money, so he never gets fleas again and we don't have to fork out even more for treatment.

We could afford to buy six months supply at the time and it was worth it, he was so miserable and it made my skin crawl when they'd jump on and off me and then my mind would go into overdrive thinking that every little itch is a flea! Eeuurgh! it's making me itch just thinking about it.

I would like to know if there are any natural alternatives that work though. At the time we took what the vet offered us out of necessity, so now that he's flea free I might look into natural treatments.
