My hamster gizmo escaped but we only realised a few hours ago.The search began every one was yelling at me cause when something goes wrong the animal is all mine!He was pronounced dead i was sitting against his cage crying when i heard fizziling and crunching.Listening it was coming from the unit.The little brat is now found!!He had bedding and food with him so relived to have him back!!

My hamster escaped three times in his life, all I did was put his open cage on the floor and each time he climbed back in overnight. I would find him fast asllep in his cage the next morning.

I wouldnt trust him enough to do that!Hes a year this month and this is his first escape and hopefully his last security has been tightened.We couldnt risk another the dog might get him[:o]

I used to have Hamsters. We went through 13 because my sisters had a few babies. Some of mine liked to climb out of their cages at night and explore the house. We found them in some odd places that you wouldn't think a hamster could reach. Our solution was just to put something heavy over the lid of their cage so they couldn't push the top open. I'm very glad to hear your hamster was found!
