Mods, I'm not sure if this is in the right place, feel free to move:D
(if you think the thread title needs changing, be my guest) you wouldn't believe how many titles this thread has been given before I actually posted it:eek:

I would like to ask you wonderfull people for some guidance & any experiences you would like to share 🙂
The last 3 years I feel I've come a long way spiritually/self but did it all as a result of post natal depression with my last child. No meds either (for those on meds who are reading this, I'm not having a go, I did what felt right for "me" at that time:D:D I've changed, but I haven't[&:] if you know what I mean.

Is there anyone in a marriage/relationship who's journeying alone? (the best way I can put it really:eek:
If you're in a marriage/relationship, have "your" changes presented any problems?????
I deal with a lot of things very differently to how I did before all this started, & THAT seems to be creating a FEW difficulties to say the least[&:][&:]
Ohhhh, help, I can't even get the point across..........or have I[&:]??????
The more I think about this post the more I want to say[&:] & it's all getting me a bit errrr..............all over the place[&:]
Does that make sense?????
If you can understand & respond I'd greatly appreciate it.
Many thanks in advance

RE: Your path.........

I am not married
But at the start of my journey I was and in my journey I had to move on
But for me I had to and it was not any thing to do with the spiritual as such
In that I know people that are in relationships one spiritual the other not and works well

For it is your journey and your partners is there journey and if the journeys walk side by side well and good

If that what you are on about ha ha

Love brent

RE: Your path.........

Yes brent thats what I'm talking about.
I just feel I've allowed my husband in the past to talk to me in a certain way & it became the "norm" (whatever that is, lol). But now I find some of it, sometimes, unacceptable & I don't think I'm dealing with it in the right way (sometimes making matters worse). Not saying anything doesn't work, as it just keeps coming back.
I'm not trying to change my husband (thats down to him when he's ready)
but certain patterns NEED to change.
I love my husband dearly & know he feels the same about me, but through the changes I've made (for the better) I see patterns that I never knew existed before 3 years ago, but breaking them seems to be the hardest part.
I need some guidance.......
Hope that makes sense:eek:

P.S I'm NOT perfect either & do have my flaws (I'm not blaming my husband for anything) I just need guidance to get me through.

RE: Your path.........

As you will have tasted many flavours of life - experienced extreme emotional turbulance - much will have changed, much will have grown & much now - 3 years on be ready to grow & become You.
When managing many many other aspects of life - ie surviving post natal depression, kids work & just getting through the day - many things will be prioritised - thus certain things arent that important - but as you grow & become stronger, with clarity of mind & congruent soul as your guide - some things will not feel quite right
and there is your path . . which you will need to follow & although change can be upsetting & painfully challenging maybe even a little scary to those around you whom all of a sudden have to wake up too - pull their socks up 😉 & discover new journeys too.
We need to keep changing, flowing - stagnation creates - well much to clear & clean out.
All answers lie within, how you feel is a great start - many new beginnings . .keep in touch as those little niggly observations are reminding you that things have to change as you have somehow arrived at a place that now - you're not sure you want to be &sounds like you wont happily stay unless things change.
You have much to give & I guess you may well be the guide too - hauling others along towards your destination by way of example. Explain gently & lovingly how you feel, that although you love life & hubby very much - but - things arent right & you want them to be & you expect more from each other & relationship as somewhere over the last few years - much has been burried, hidden & now its time to restore explore & live more attuned to dreams & wishes.
As you have grown stronger, much clarity of soul will shine through - sometimes those closest to us have to learn much not only from us staying but also from us leaving them - ( not actually physically ) & the stagnant comfort - all be it if only temporary in dialogue, expression & change... emotionally detach & with focus show what you need & want.
Communication is the key - you have to - in my humble opinion - stay true to your needs & act within them to create a better future,a happier soul & much happier day to day life. When the words spoken from your loved one makes your toes curl, your heart beat & your soul soar - or hey just even respectful happiness should be good you know youre on the right path.
Don't allow anyone to make you feel anything other than you want to feel - Remember what ever comes out of his mouth - is his stuff - his - you neednt take any of it onboard. Politely & gently give it straight back as it doesnt belong to you & you wont receive that tone or negativity ( i'm guessing here but you may grasp what I'm trying to mean) stay calm & polite - love & respect yourself & you will find a way...
aslong as you feel good & youre on the right path - much will follow - so do all you have to do to maintain that congruence as there I'm sure you will find - eventually - peace

( Transition is challenging to all - but it will pass & normality will settle & resume as long as much is shared, expressed & acknolwedged by both )

This may not be the guidance you need - I have no magic key in which with ease all patterns will be broken - ah but you have - right there deep within !
Your heart & soul will be your guide - observe, listen, learn & when sure -move things along bit by bit - flow with gut instinct .
Your own gut guidance is better than any words anyone can say...in my humble opinion !!! 😀

Stay strong, stay true & go for it gal 🙂 Here's to You & your many new beginings
