RE: Was I ever a tree?

ORIGINAL:

have very vivid dreams of running with a pack of wolves and can metapmorphise into a wolf very easy which I feel would not be the case had I not actually been one lol.

M!,

How do you do that?? It sounds amazing. Is this while you are journeying? What does it feel like?

Sorry, this is probably another thread altogether isn't it?

RE: Was I ever a tree?

Hi Celtia,

It's a Buddhist belief (and probably others) that humans will only re-incarnate as humans, birds as birds, fish as fish etc.

As has already been mentioned above, everything is energy. IMO, when the energy that is connected with our physical being seperates after death it can connect with other life elsewhere in the universe. This energy could be the energy of a tree, a stone, water, air, fire, alien or anything.

I believe that when we recall past lives through whatever means we tap into the memories of those lives that we can make tangible sense of. To experience the memories and energy of something that is alien to our current mind set would likely just represent itself as some confusing images in our mind, e.g. a tree sees the world in a totally different way to humans.

So in my view we can re-incarnate as anything anywhere in the universe. To start putting a hierarchy on things and assuming that because we are human we are a higher life form than, say, a rat shows one of our poor human traits that we have to believe we are better than other things in this world. Without the trees we would not have oxygen to breath, and the water could take our lives with a single sweep. Let's not underestimate the energy and importance of everything that is around us.

I would love to experience the life of the birds, the trees, water, air etc.

Love and Reiki Hugs

RE: Was I ever a tree?

Hi folks,

A very interesting thread!

I feel that the people who have recincarnated as 'bad people' this time around are not only learning valuable and valid lessons themselves, on their own paths, but are also here to teach us all valuable lessons too. Without them, we would all be 'nice' and wouldn't really learn much along the way, as it's usually from negative experiences and interactions that we grow the most, (though admittedly these are also the hardest lessons to learn).

So if we turn things around and choose to see them as teachers, it changes a lot of things.

Just a thought.

Much love

Memphis
