Dear Peeps,
This may sound strange, but I beleive that I have met my spirit guide in physical form. Here's the story, you can tell me if it's rubbish or not:
I have an Egyptian guide, whom I know to have been my (illicit) lover when we both lived in Egypt, many, many centuries past. I knew also that we both were living and working at a temple dedicated to Isis. This is about as much as I knew until my recent visit to Egypt. When I met our tour guide, I instantly recognised him, or at least his spirit energy, if you like. We had an immediate spiritual connection (and later a physical one, which involved hugs and chats.) When we visited the Temple of Isis at Philae, I had a 'vision' that this was the place in the past were I once served as a priestess, very young. When I noticed our tour guide, he seemed to blend into the fabric of the building, as if her were a part of it. I knew then, that this flesh-and-blood person standing before me was/is my spirit guide, or at least a fragment of his energy was. I have never had this before. What does everyone think? What did it mean?
I am interested to know.

Dear Patsy
I am feeling that this has been a very strange experience for you but one that affected you very deeply and made you consider a few things in your life. It is very common for guides (or aspects) of them to come to you in your everyday life, usually in very strong and strange ways.
We can have spirit guides that come and go and help us to experience intense feelings in very short space of time, I feel that you needed that experience and it is the start of somthing. Sorry this is a bit garbled but it is what I am getting.

Wow Patsy what a - I'm searching for words - transcendental? experience. I like most people have often felt immediate connections with certain people, and have the feeling of knowing them deeply without having had to get to know them. I've felt my guide's presence often, and have inklings of the history there. But you've bridged the gap between those two states. I'm awestruck.

Last year I had a past life regression done with a chap called Roger Burman. Now he believes he is in contact with spirit and his partner is a medium, and together they have written several books, the first being called Why Come Back? It's all about information they have received from spirit about past lives, spirit guides etc. and how they can relate it to the events that have happened in their own lives.
Now this is Rogers take on things from his book, not necessarily mine... (I'll try and keep this to an abbreviated version!)
At the beginning of each of our existences, we leave 'the source' (whatever you want to call it) as a spirit three i.e. there are three spirits joined together. As this spirit three it is decided what life lessons/plans are required and then two of the spirits will incarnate with no memory of past lives or their life plan. The third spirit remains in spirit as the spirit guide for the other two and co-ordinates with other spirit guides to bring about the life plans of the other two. At some point in their lives the two incarnated spirits will meet whether it is only a brief encounter or a whole lifetime together, but their meeting will be in order to influence eath other in a way to assist in achieving their life plans. Upon death of one of the two incarnated spirits it returns to be with the spirit guide, thus becoming a second spirit guide for remaining incarnate. Then when the remaining incarnate returns to spirit, they 'discuss' what was learnt and achieved and upon successful completion of their goals (maybe after many incarnations) they may move up through the levels of spirit until they can finally return to source. If there are more lessons to be learnt then again they make life plans and again they decide which two will incarnate and the process repeats itself.
So in this context, perhaps your egyptian man is in fact your other incarnated spirit from your spirit three and the knowledge you have of him is from your previous life, the last time you were incarnated together. In which case you have a spirit guide out there that you haven't yet met, as does your egyptian man.
