Hi Holisticback, Some of my guides help me in my spritiual healing work, another guide helps me to dowse flower essences.

When other guides are around me, I am usually made aware of who is around me and what they are there to help me with.

I personally dont use my guides they use me, as with all things they are in control and help me do what ever it is they want me to do. I have lots of energies and do not nessarily know who they are, but that does not usually matter, as they help. Desrpition for them is not important. It is us humans that get hung up on labels not the spirit. I find that anything they ask me to do I can do as they would not ask me to do things if I was not able to do it Trust is always the overiding force. Hope this helps as always this is only my perception and may not be the only true thought.

My poor guides have to listen to me whitter on about all sorts! They are very good listeners but I certainly don't 'use' them. One of them does help me with my Reiki though but it was his choice not mine, I never asked for his help he just came forward.

I am very new to all this guides thing. Up until a couple of months ago I didn't even think I HAD any........

Hi All

Guides can help in numerous ways and are always around. You can ask them for anything and they will help you get the thimngs you want and guide you into things they want you to do which are for your higher good. They can also get you to see what you areas you need to develop in (especially animal guides) and help you to understand what is going on.

Alot of guides love being helppful especially with healing work. Working with them mainly involves understanding why they are here and what they can do for you, mainly this can be done through meditation or through working with a introducer (not what I mean but near enough) who will help you to meet your guides and work with them.

Anyway I am sure you will get more advice here

The way I have been taught, is before we start linking or working with our guides, is to learn and get to know the energy of our gatekeeper, for it is out gatekeeper who is there to protect us from unwanted energies or spirit from lower energies... as time goes on, when guides who want to work with us, our gatekeeper will bring them forth...

I speak to my gatekeeper, and allow guides to work through me when doing healing, as well as channel.. I always call when doing readings (tarot) for truth in love and light of the highest source.. My guides never have full control over me and or what I do.. as no guides are allowed to do this.. that is what I have been taught.. guides are there to use us to do work for spirit, they never tell us what to do, but will confirm what we need to know ...i.e. working for them, the path ahead with that work.... IMHO I speak from my perspective, from experience as well as what I have been taught..

How do you work with your guides? Have you seen the film Apollo 13? The spacecraft is on the way to the moon, difficulties arise and a whole team is doing its best to make the mission a success in spite of the dangers and problems. That is how i see it how we work with our guides. A mutual cooperation with inmense joy to make the mission work.

It is a good thing to ask - shared knowledge makes us wiser. I might have been carried away with the Apollo 13 film, but it is in my view the best example to show us how we work with our guides, or they with us. One team is out there, watching, pondering on solutions, doing their utmost to get you safely home. There is one guide who has the microphone and speaks on behalf of the team to you. You say :(Houston) I have a problem and at once the whole team sets into motion and brainstorm to help you.
I am convinced it works that way.

i think i have a guide but i wnat to know if i do and if so how do you find out who they are this guide is really close and i feel loved to by this guide i had a dream a few weeks back and in my dream they reviled that my invisable friend from chil hood was my nan who passed over when i was 18 mths old could this be true can any 1 help me out plz cazwix

I dont use my guides simply work with them and they come to me when in times of need or if i am in a time of learning. Also when i need incouragment
