Hi all

In one of the gospels it talks about the apostles talking in different tongues e.g. languages and in the past I thought there might be a logical explanation for this that did not necessarily mean they spoke different languages, well I have been corrected. Prior to leaving for Israel Spirit started to give me messages in Hebrew and this continued almost daily whilst I was in Israel. Even during a healing treatment some was done in Hebrew and the lady had to translate for me.

I should add that I don't even have a Hebrew phrase book.....:D

My point of raising this is to ask you whether you have ever received spiritual messages from Spirit in a language different from your own.

It could make for an interesting topic.

Hi Kim, Sometimes Spirit will speak to me in Spanish, especially when I'm not listening!

Whilst I grew up in England, Spanish is my first language, so in my case I can understand why they sometimes choose to use Spanish.

Why do you think they're giving you messages in Hebrew?

Love

I don't "channel" per se,but Ihave hadspanish words in my dreams. Once I woke up saying a word that sounded like Quabow. I repeated it outloud several times in a sleep/dream stateand then spelled itoutloud) C U E V O. I recognized the pronunciation and letter combination as being spanish. So, I went to the library (before GOOGLE was invented) and researched it. The word means "subterrainious dwelling"

I never figured out why that word came to me. It was cool though. My freind, (who does channel) had to ask spirit to speak english - and now they do.

RE: Talking in different languages

Hello

I have recently started to come out with things when I am in meditation that are in a language unknown to myself.

But previously I had a problem with a chinese lady came for a reading and spirit wanted to talk in chinese so I had to inform them that if they wanted to communicate they must speak in English - when she came again they spoke English!!!! I have never had a problem since! lol!

RE: Talking in different languages

I've had an experience a bit like imarainbow, in that I've had converstaional French in dreams before! The conversation flowed really easily, but perhaps that wasbecause it was all coming from my subconscious so I wouldn't have been nervous about making things come out right.

This has reminded me of something though...once when I was really young, about fiveorsix I think, I had a dream (about a swimming pool filled with coffee!) in which someone said the word 'average'...describing me, LOL! I woke up with it still in my head but being young, didn't know exactly what it meant, although I had heard of it before. I wasn't best pleased when I learnt what it meant, but it is weird how these things come to you in your sleep state, hey!

Perhaps they didn't mean "average" as in "mean" average - but that one day you'ld be a "mode"rator

(Sorry about this - please excuse me - I had to revise some stats for my course.........)

Thank you for sharing everyone.

Why do you think they're giving you messages in Hebrew?

I have no idea Rosi, at first we thought it might be because they wished for me to learn Hebrew and this was a good way of me learning......a few more words each day..

However, towards the end of the trip a shaman said 'tell them to translate it at the same time' after that the Hebrew words almost stopped.

I was also seeing gold letters in Hebrew which was a bit crazy because they were too small for me to copy down for others to translate for me. The very last word that I got was Lamech and my friend didn't know what the word meant I did some research yesterday and found that Lamech was a person related to Noah. Another day I was given a word and it turned out to be a girls name that phoned later that day.....it was great evidence if nothing else.

I will have to ask them why/the intent.

I have also been getting some french place names as well.

PS it seems Heb. lemekh, also means = undetermined

hello imarainbow,

just wanted to say that i have heard alot recently about the existence of populated 'underground worlds' such as places as Shamballa and that the inhabitants are due to 'surface' very soon to make contact with us, the above humans.
