Spirits/Earth Bound’s
What are they?
Spirits are souls that have not managed to pass over to the other side or make their transition there. Some times they are in need of a little support to make the move, or some times it takes something a little more than that. This is why we have clairvoyants and mediums to do this work. You may hear the term Earth bound and this is true, as they can not leave this dimension to get to the other. Sometimes it is through an act of violence, or something has been done to make the soul sad. I have known spiits to cling to people until that person forgives them[sm=offtopic.gif]( go into that later)
A good example to see this is (England’s most Haunted) A way that is used to get in touch with these are Ouija boards and I seriously do not recommend them.[sm=nono.gif]
Spirit Guides
Not to get confused with the above, as these are souls that have passed over and help us from the other side, often a spirit guide is some one that we have known and originates within our family line, However a lot of the time a friend who we have known may come in and give us guidance upon our path. Spirit guides are not ghosts, or earth bounds as they have passed over, their choice as well as our own was for them to be our guides and help us learn the lessons that life gives us. Yes we can communicate with them, through various methods.

These are all methods in which our guides can come in close to us. They want what’s best for us, and like us to have fun, for us not to be stressed and upset. I also know that they do not wish us to grieve for them, for they are without pain and with other members of their family or with other loved ones.
The way it works is that when a person passes over they are given roles and jobs to do.
Example
Help others make their transition and pass over
Observe humanity
Councillors-communicating with other energies
Guardians-Those who like to give us strength and courage in times of need.
My own example is that I have my granddad with me my uncle and my gran. They come in different times or when something specific comes up that they can help with. They often have some kind of message. Simply thinking about them brings them close to us.
When there is a wedding, christening death or birth in the family, I have seen many spirits congregate from that specific family to give the soul strength, joy, health and blessings. So what am I getting at here? Well Love is everlasting and it is through love that spirit guides work. Love never dies as it is eternal, the love you have for another even if they have passed over usually means that they will be close to you, even if you do not feel hear or see them.
Another way it works is that once we have learned the lesson and have increased in our wisdom/vibration then another guide comes in to help us of a higher vibration and understanding. Sometimes this guide stays with us many years or even just a few days, depending on what it is we are developing in.
Example-If you are learning to cook could be your great gran or aunt helping you, or even a higher vibrational guide.
If you are learning Tarot- then yes this could be one of your relatives too, but also another higher guide.
Animal Guides
Animals can be guides they teach us certian traits, and lessons, for the time or for a long while. I have a dragon guide who has been with me for years I also have dolphins, Eagel, Raven, Cat, Wolf,Owl.
Owl teaches us about our intuition
Wolf teaches cunning and group participation
Dolphin teaches us joy but are alos great healers
What’s the difference between guides and higher guides?
Well Spirit guides never stop learning even when they pass over, they are given tasks also and when they have achieved it then the more their vibration increases. Some one well known here on this dimension who does a lot for mother earth and humanity

I edited out all of my post bar the enitial question in the other forum...(i go into far too much detail) Thanks for the article... it does help alot. as i had no idea about any of this before. Was only aware i have guides, but didnt know how to be intune with them.

Yes the key is patience and the tip I can give you is to be the turtle andnot the hair. Meaning all will come in good time. When I first started upon my path I knew nothing of this either

In response to some one who Pm`d me I am going to say a few things on their behalf and in hope that they will understanda little more on what spirit is all about and how u know you are not going nuts
Ok How do you know you are not going nuts?
Easy have you asked yourself if you are, I simply trust what I see feel and come to know, if u r going crazy then you will find you will lose control with what is real and what is not.
Yes I do communicate with spirit, and this is any energy from the low and slow moving, to the divine realms, as all exist with a purpose.
And is all about fun and being without fear

When I asked God what my most prominent angel is, I saw the color pink and saw the name Ariel. I had never heard of an Angel by the name of Ariel before, only Michael or Gabriel etc.....
What does this mean? Why is Ariel so promiment? What do you think about this? What kinds of things does this say about my purpose? Perhaps it will help me fullfill my dream of being an archeologist, uncovering ancient mysteries in the wonderfull earth.

Thanks, i enjoyed reading your post. Could i please ask you a question?
I have seen my Guide 3 times all together in my minds eye,but that was many months ago. On 1 occassion i saw my Higher self next to my Guide..it was so unbelievable.
What's upset me lately though is that he doesn't show himself anymore. There have been timeswhen i have been so desperate to know he was there, and asked to see him..but nothing.
I'm not even sure if he is still my Guide, so i asked that if that is the case to please show me who is..but again nothing.
Don't get me wrong, i was very very grateful to see him those times, but i did hope that i would then be able to have continuous contact with him. Do you have any idea why this is?

Well maybe you have moved on. (GOOD) You can create whatever you wish in your minds eye, but is it authentic? There are very few that can actually see spirit, what they in fact tend to see is what they wish to see. So many supposed Guides/Masters 'named' or otherwise are astral creations existing only on the expectations and energies of the unwary. Trouble is when you ask the guide that you have personally created if they are authentic guess what the answer will be. [8D]
I think the term these days is co-create. Truthfully your guides were with you before you were born. There is no need to imagine any likeness; all that does is entangle you in the astral, not good.
Your guides are as much a part of you as breathing, learning to accept that is not always easy. Expectation of course gets in the way, and is in turn fuelled by all sorts of new age garbage.
Accepting that you are loved without condition by Spirit is the surest way to begin allowing total interaction with Spirit. It is our personal emotions that get in the way of this process. Spirit waits patently for even the slightest opportunity to interact with us. Lack of self worth is the biggest obstacle.
Try just sitting quietly and asking Spirit to take you to your highest level of understanding that you can reach. Then place your hands anywhere that feels comfortable and ask for the healing you need. It really is that simple. Healing will bring its own challenges but the personal effort is worthwhile.
No need for any kind of meditation. That is a practice that is fine for a way to relax. But as a means of meeting a guide well the chances of embracing an authentic expression of spirit is minimal to say the least.

Oh and not to confuse matters, in case anyone answers and wishes to tell me how to see Angels, :DI am very happy not to, as, I believe they are here anyway, as EAW has said, and I can put my Trust in them and my Guides without having to have any evidence of such.

Thanks for your reply. In two and a half years that i have been dong Reiki, seeing my guide 3 times has been the only eventfull thing that has happened to me.
At that time, i had no clue that my guide was an Indian untill i saw him. I was told later that i had an Indian Guide by a Reiki Master that i was in correspondance with; which really shocked me.
Every time i saw him, i was almost dropping off to sleep..but it soon woke me up!
But honestly it was not my imagination..it takes a lot to convince me of anything. It was like watching a video and so clear. I have tried to see (imagine) him since over the months but nothing happens.
I sometimes think that maybe he's thinking that he's proved he's with me, and should be happy with that!

I am reminded of those people who say that they are unable to meditate. As i am one i often wondered why cos i REALLY wanted to connect to the guides i had. Meditation was highly recommended by the majority of the new age experts.
Trouble is meditation as a means of linking to Guides dumps (or drops)you emotionally into the astral/4th dimension. Yup control again. That drop can be emotionally devestating.
Took a while before i began to realise why and its simply that if the soul level of the individual is evolved beyond the astral then its extremely difficult for the physical emotional human expression to go backwards. Not that i had any awarewness of this at the time. Any one sez to me that they can't meditate or see spirit my answer is GOOD you are safely beyond the astral. But of course there are therapies that have the side effect of forcing you to go emotionally backwards. Not good. Somewhare i have an article called 'Getting it Togeather'

Personally i would be very carefularound someone tells you who your guide is, its sets the expectation in your mind. Yup its always VERY real. Not trying to be unkind in any way just very honest.
I have tried to see (imagine) him since over the months but nothing happens.

You are so right, i have lately been trying too hard to hurry myself along.
My excuse is because of what is happening to my sister, which is devastating my family.
I feel i desperately needed to speak to a Higher being to tell me what to do to help her; because i'm certainly not!!
When i saw my Guide, i was so excited. I thought that at last i had contact and that from then on i'd have one on one advice and help on what to do.
I haven't a lot of belief in myself and feel the need for support from a 'wiser' source.
The fact that i have given my sister Reiki for two and a half years with absolutely no results has made me doubt myself.
