RE: So much darkness?
Well guys just thought i would add my 2pence worth,
I have many views on many things. Some you will agree with some you wont. But we can discuss.
I read the Others thread with quite some interest, but what i found disturbing (have to admit to not reading the most recent last few days post on it!) was that it all seemed so cloak and dagger i.e lets talk about IT/THEM, us in the know, but lets not give too much away incase we frighten the less informed people!
Well if you are going to talk about it but NOT, why not PM each other to discuss it properly or discuss what you really mean openly, rather than hush hush?
It reads to me like a lot of scare mongering, by people who seem to want to say they know something we dont!
Anyway, sorry if that offends anyone, its just my opinion. But i have to say it did make me laugh at some peoples over inflatted ego, of being IN THE KNOW, and it was good reading. So thank you.
By the way Sharon think that was very brave of you to start this thread in the first place bearing in mind at one stage there was implications of something sinister watching the thread. (If your still there, no offence!)
Happy New Year to you all, thats dark believers and light alike.

RE: So much darkness?
The word 'Demon' was used ONCE and that was QUOTING THE DALAI LAMA - other than that, it was this thread who mentioned, more than once, Demon Haunted Worlds - those who had experience of the others were very quick to advise that such labels were inappropriate - like calling a mosquito a pterydactyl
I 'repeatedly' use the word Demon and I will again;). This thread was a side thought from your 'others' thread and got me thinking how easy it is for folk to feel they live in a Demon haunted world, I totally stand by my use of words and am likely to use the words again if I feel I want to. I use it because I agree if it's Demons you want it's Demons you'll get.
And what is wrong with someone saying they know something? You are entitled to disagree, but to get all upset because they have a level of confidence in their knowledge is to encourage woolly living - pandering to insecurities and sensibilities which serves only to censor reality, and make it unreal!
You used my quote there Magpie so I'll answer;)
I have NO problem with folk saying they 'know' just simply stateing I don't believe they do, simple as that. The reason I don't believe is because I could post a 'question'( and have done in my believe anythng i'm told hey-day) on say 20 different forums and get about 10 different answers. It just seems to me no-one obviously knows as surley they would be singing from the same hymn sheet?
wasnt this really when you realised noone was feeding you anything but yourself?
A bit of both sides to be honest. I was born with a sleeping disorder, as a baby I was suspected as having epilepsy as during sleep I was thrash and go go mental in my cot. Grewup and it developed into seeing Snow-white sat in my bed. Wasn't scared, I LOVED Snow-white first ever film I saw at the pictures, plus It felt so special, your fav character sitting on your bed-looking at you. Got older, say 10ish, heard about the Yorkshire ripper, troubled me as my parents talked in 'real' serious tones, convinced myself he might kill me or someone in my family, saw a picture of him once they captured him, plauged me for years, would open my eyes in the night and see him looking over me, how I never had a heart attack I will NEVER know. Got all believing I was psychic, two mediums told me I was. Loved it, was never good at anything else so finally I had something I could do, was an ego boost if truth be told. Might be a bit thick but at least I was psychic. Got in with a group. Took me under their wings. told them I had visits in the night of people, NEVER said who, they never asked. I just accepted that when they said I was a lightworker it must be so, who was I to argue? They explained I would/may start getting more 'spirits' coming to me in the night, needing help. And as they said I would, I did. I believe I invented them in my mind because I wanted them, it made me feel special, I was helping , I like to help, so I got them, they planted the seed my mind did the rest. My mind is still active, but only around twice a year now. This year I have had the ladders and horse from the film 'The Ring' in my room, and my cross stitch Angel pattern floating round.
Something happened,Istopped just accepting and started thinking for myself and a lot of what I ws being told just wasn't adding up, at all. To cut a long story short I'm where I am now. So yes, part of it was me. My first, Yorkshire Ripper where due to my 'fear' that someone was out to get me,I have no clue whyI would think that but I must have done, and the other stuff was my making I suppose deep down I 'needed' the visits, kept me feeling special, was exciting yet very scarey too.
Your wrong IMHO to say folk aren't feed things, they are. look how many people post on forums daily, newbies, looking for the info, all looking to be guided by those in the know. Whether you think you are or not you are feeding them. I never often if ever see anyone say...I know what I think it could be x,y,z, what do you think, or Believer
RE: So much darkness?
wish i'd never started that thread...
RE: So much darkness?
Oh Willowtree,
It was a great thread, and you managed to open up a whole new debate, which can only be a good thing, how would we ever learn anything about ourselves, or other people unless we talk about these things???
