Thankgoodness she had a friend like you around. when you said....
So for some days we embarked on a wonderful journey of her telling me all the fearful programming about negatives this psychic group had given her, and one by one we looked at these things and saw them as the natural phenomena or even beautiful things they in fact are. It was like watching someone reborn, and her joy was touching.
That must have been so lovely for her, and yourself, that in your own way you helped her see beauty again?

Even 'negative' people can be viewed as mistaken children of God who are in need of help.
I agree with you here David. My tutor on my 'children' course taught me that behind all 'behaviour' is an unmet need, I agree it's just down to them needing their need to be met.
Like you I also 'now' believe that And spectacles or auras can be changed over time. I know I changed my spectacles

Sharon, another thing that just occured to me. .... when you have little babies, the world becomes a different place. Somehow your worries and fears become magnified. I developed an intense fear of pit bull terriers whilst I was pregnant as they were in the news a lot and I was convinced one of them would savage my baby.
Thing change when you have children, but it subsides.

Oh yes, I'll say so. Sorts the men out from the mice in your mind;) I've found my kids things very much more 'real' for me.

I have to admit, I found "The others" thread quite disturbing and decided to stop reading it as I am starting to allow my Spirituality to come through.
What I found hard to grasp was the whole "Your not supposed to speak about it"! bit. How do you know you are not allowed to speak about it? and if so, why speak about it if it is so very bad to speak about??
I may be ignorant, but I have met negative stuff a lot in my life time and I am using my spirituality, sensitivity, feel, what ever you want to call it to be a positive thing. If things start to get dodgy on a personal level, then my spirituality isn't as it should be and I should work on that to make it right again.
I guess it is a personal thing and I should respect each and every persons right to feel what they feel. But, when it gets too dark, I can't really think of anything good that will come from it. Unless of course you are asking for help!

you are not the first one to say this Clip Clop, and show wisdom with it.
The Others thread was actually in the right place here on spirituality, but some decided it was psychic or paranormal - buts its as spiritual as sitting on a hilltop for a lifetime imagining everything as balls of light....
This thread had me stewing for ages, which is why i hadnt posted on it - still am stewing over it. Ill probably edit this later, so I apologise if its TOO harsh, but it is meant to be a poke in the ribs.
The problem is this:

This is why they are not discussed - no other reason. Because talking about them makes people think of them, and that doesnt help anyone.
EVERY SINGLE PERSON on that thread who knew what was being referred to was CATEGORICAL in saying there was NOTHING to worry about - that there was NO ACTION required.
But this very thread highlights why - now, this thread has had more hits than the original and people now have the impression in their minds that there are members here obsessed with 'So Much Darkness' when THIS thread has propagated it and lets the word 'Darkness' gloomify the main spirituality forum page.
I've noticed how lots of you feel you are living in a Demon Haunted world
The word 'Demon' was used ONCE and that was QUOTING THE DALAI LAMA - other than that, it was this thread who mentioned, more than once, Demon Haunted Worlds - those who had experience of the others were very quick to advise that such labels were inappropriate - like calling a mosquito a pterydactyl!
1 thread in THOUSANDS here on HP mentioned them. One. And it was from a new member (at the time) who was simply sharing an observation from their experience.
Now, this person knows their work is SPIRITUAL and posted it here in SPIRITUALITY for that reason. If he was talking ghosts, he would, Im sure, since he seems to be a wise chap to me, have gone over to psychic and paranormal, but since he knew what he wanted to share, he went to the appropriate place.

That's what I am looking for, folk saying 'I think'. When I read statements with 'It Is so, or I know', I obviously am lead to believe there is undisbutable evidence to back up such claims, but I think, or I feel because is great for me. I say this because I truly believe no-one, not a living soul on this planet knows what's what
I have to say - if i know the carpet in my room is blue, do i not have the right to say it is blue? OK, I may be colour blind, but if i do not know it, im still going to say its blue.
Im not going to say, ooo im looking at my carpet and i feel its blue, i thinks its blue, when i know for damn sure its blue. If im proven wrong, then i WILL acknowledge it, but that is in response to counterargument, not simply 'i dont like what youre saying so im going to say la-la-la your x,y,z' simply to protect my impression of the world or spirituality.
If you cant EVEN SEE MY CARPET (metaphorically speaking) - dont tell me its not blue, or not even a carpet and its my imagination, drugs or anything else - unless you know. And what is wrong with someone saying they know something? You are entitled to disagree, but to get all upset because they have a level of confidence in their knowledge is to encourage woolly living - pandering to insecurities and sensibilities which serves only to censor reality, and make it unreal!
noone knows whats what? True as true can be!! But doesnt stop all of us knowing a little piece we can all put together to perhaps get a rough, general shape of 'what'....
Im OTT here since this has played on me since this thread started. I wasnt going to respond and in fact have set up secure private forums elsewhere where people may speak freely of things they KNOW are there since it is THEIR PATH and SERVICE TO US ALL to work at the periphery, protecting and defending ALL men - blinkered and Sighted.
