ORIGINAL: venetian

In moments of doubt or feeling low, you can feel certain that the world is 'obviously' a grey place, that there's a lot of darkness, etc., etc. Then if you raise yourself up into tremendous joy, such as spiritual attunement with the Divinity, or even non-religious happiness that is complete - then the world is simply a wonderful place to be, no darkness is viewed anywhere or ever recognised as such; the golden lining is seen behind every shadow, and passing problems are laughed off since a bright light is clear at such times at the end of a (short) tunnel.
(snip)
It requires wearing the right spectacles or having the right aura through which to view it all. And spectacles or auras can be changed over time.

Words to live by, Venetian, and something which has become clear to me during 2004. I spend a lot of my time trying to help others see that if they just change their perceptions, everything can be lived through without the deeper fear of negativity. As the saying goes, the night is always darkest before the dawn.

RE: So much darkness?

Hi Candie

All that talk about dark shadows attacking people in the middle of the night is just scaring impressionable folk. To me it is something that is happening to them for a number of reasons, one of them being simply a dream state, nothing more.

I totally agree. Candie you’ll see from my old posst I too was(still am a little bit) one of those folk who ‘see’s things. Thankgoodness due to some sensible people and a different mind-set on my part they have moved from seeing Yorkshire ripper, Kray twins, young ‘horrific’ looking children in my bedroom to Angels. Not ‘real’ angels mind you. I spent 2 months cross-stitching a cartoon like Angel as a gift for someone and about 6 weeks ago I had one of my turns and the Angel from the cross stitch pattern was flying round my bedroom. Luckily now it’s nice things and I just accept it for what it is, all in my mind, and I close my eyes and go back to sleep.

Natural distasters have always occured and always will. We are just so much more aware of them now due to the media and they are nothing to do with evil. They are simply nature taking it's course.

Totally agree.

Don't dwell on it Sharon. Keep away from postings like that and websites like that because it won't help. If others choose to discuss such things, so be it, you don't have to become involved.

I do try not to Candie. I suppose I remember what ‘state’ I used to get myself in, and it was not helped by folk who claim to be in the ‘know’ big-ing me (I notice this a lot ) up with ‘you’re a sensitive, your gifted, your psychic, these horrific presence are here to test you/help them cross over rubbish, I’d just hate anyone else’s ‘need’ to be something special/spiritually awakened (if like me they felt lacking in other areas of life) for them to end up in a ridiculous state where fantasy does seem ‘very’ real. But I do get your point. , your right, I will try not to dwell on it.

Be Happy Sharon!

I am and will stay happy Candie, thanks mate. You know it’s funny, once I got over myself and truly questioned all the stuff the ‘those that know’ where feeding me it all stopped, I went from scarey things to nice things, and the nice things are now only about twice a year. Haven’t mastered the Brad Pitt image in my bedroom yet mind you, but still trying.

Also…Happy New year to you Candie
Much Love
Sharon

I always find it easier to master getting Russell Crowe's image into my bedroom -[sm=cool-smiley-013.gif] I think he likes getting around and about a bit more![sm=bouncy.gif][sm=bouncy.gif][sm=bouncy.gif]
