what seems to me to be a very demon haunted world.
I don't think it is at all. far from it, there is lots of love and light out there look at what happens when there is a tragedy such as 911 or the Tsunami, yes these are both terribly sad events but look at the way people have responded to the cries for help, the donations that are pouring in , the love and prayers as well as healing being sent to these people , i do think though that if you focus on the dark , negative most of the time, then you will sense it around you more than if you are to surround yourself in love and light and send out love to others, this comes from inside the heart ,

I can actually bring it in as a case to prove my point...bad things happen no matter how positive you are...We dont have control over such things and no matter what we do the unpredictability of life will always effect us...
And as another example to highlight my point is 9/11 (something which for better or worst i know alot about) We can do the best in our lives being positive and everything that comes with it but we have to remember that there are others out there that will do bad things (whatever their motivation) to others
And the bit that is actually annoying me is the part about you only have to fear wot you create in your minds etc (cant remember exactly how its put) I just cant believe that some out there think that there isnt badness in the world, people like the psychic vampire discribed above...discribing these people as psychic vampires is a way of explaining the effect they have on me and other people however you can also discribe them without using mythical niknames as selfish or self-centered or attention seekers...and unfortunately being nice as i hope i am it takes a while to realise this fact and the effect these people have on me is as i have discribed...they drain me i feel knackered spending time with them...I hope am making sense lol
In fact you could argue that I have no 'psychic' abilities but I am in fact very good at reading other people through body language and the tone of vocie they use and their facial expressions etc...but even then these people still have an effect on you...

It's stories like the ones you've both shared that upsets me so much, I've read many stories like that on other disscuission gropus, I find it heartbreaking. That was the whole point of my post really that how easy it can be for people to get tied up in this 'darkness' ghouls thing and what 'can' happen if they do. Such a shame. I sometimes wonder if They are trying to create a different world for themselves, as they cannot deal with the one the rest of us cope with.

I agree with Gilly especially when she mentions you can't compare what happened to those poor people with what we are disscussing. The darknes I'm talking about is the subject matter in the 'others' thread, not natural disasters, can't compare the two really.

That's what I am looking for, folk saying 'I think'. When I read statements with 'It Is so, or I know', I obviously am lead to believe there is undisbutable evidence to back up such claims, but I think, or I feel because is great for me. I say this because I truly believe no-one, not a living soul on this planet knows what's what so I smiled that your humble enough not to pretend you 'know' it all.
I've run out of steam here now so I'll go as I've said enough already.

As Jesus said other people's business is none of your business, your business is self. There is a natural justice in this world and spiritual laws that take care of such things.
Unfortunately, the older I get the more and more I doubt 'karma'. I dont see a lot of justice going on in the world. Some very bad people seems to be getting away with some truely wicked things. I refuse to stand by and simply witness the kind of aborhent behaviour that lets parents murder their own son due to their belief he is possessed by demons. I would not consider myself a 'spiritual' person if I did (but I do not intend to cast doubt on other peoples spirituality just because they decide to leave justice in the hand of 'karma). When it comes down to it I think that the God and Goddess (God, Divinity, Spirit, whatever you wish to call it) leave it up to us to live our own lives, without interference. I think this also includes meting out justice.
