Reckon u need to have a little more faith in yourself Sharon. As when we are low and down then of cource we see things that in truth are our own projections. Acknowledging this will help you understand that there is not such as darkness but as Kim said

Yes there is a large awakening
Mother earth as has been stated on many ocasions by myself and others here is increasing in her vibration. And so those of a heavier vibration are either wakeing up, developing or needing to go over issues again, until they do learn.

I'm not to sure where your confusion has come from on this????
I myself don't live in a Demon Haunted world, I don't believe in psychic vampires, others, satan, and such like, I se no darkness other than my own when I'm not in the right mood;) No, my post was about how I've noticed how lots of you feel you are living in a Demon Haunted world, and of course, goes without saying, each to their own.

I have a friend who, unknown to me at the time, was very impressionable and willing to believe others. She got mixed up with people who emphasised the negative, talking about entities and dark opposing forces a lot. I didn't find out until later that she ended up an an inmate in a place for the mentally unstable for almost a year.
Thankfully she is swimming and great these days, but she had to 'unlearn' all the focus upon demons, darkness and opposing forces.

And this talk of light and dark etc and some peoples belief that there is nothing to fear etc its all in your head basically is beginning to annoy me...
Its all very well being positive in yourself and nothing bad or negative will happen...try saying that to the 150,000 people who died over christmas
And I know i started the others thread but you cant spend your life only talking about the positive things in life you have to accept that there are negative influences and we live on a planet with billions of other people and no matter how much effort you put into being positive these other people will effect your life some in a good way some in a bad way...its niave to believe that not thinking about bad stuff will stop it from happening...sounds like burying your head in the sand to me...I
'm a very positive person however i do acknowledge the fact that there is negativity in this world and to ignore it is silly...And it maybe that i unfortunately encounter more of the badness in this world as a result of my job (i mean actual job) and the very fact that i have encountered this drives me to helping other people and trying to pass on my positivity to others and help those in need...

I also had a friend like this, who convinced herself she was being persued by dark forces and was sectioned, all very sad. She is fine now, but it took 4 years, and a lot of 'unlearning' to get her right again. A huge pity as she was, and is a scientist with a Research group on DNA. The problem began with a simple search on the internet, from there to a book (no idea which one and don't want to know[:'(]) and a breakup of her marriage after a miscarriage. Every thing, physically and mentally was out of balance, and she became susceptible.

You cannot really bring natural disasters such as the earthquake into the frame as an individual case. You can say though that horrifying as it is, where is the lesson to be learnt from this? And will it make us all stop and think a bit more about others, and the effect we have on them?
None of those souls on holiday, hoping to enjoy themselves or the people who lived and worked and lost their lives sought the 'darkness' 'vampire' or whatever. It was a natural phenonemon, and a ghastly one. I honestly do not think anyone would claim to know WHY these people died. But behind everything, there seems to be a purpose, and as many on HP say, often, the world and its people are undergoing rapid change and becoming what they are supposed to be. A long way to go, admittedly, but this is the turning point towards the future. A more compassionate one too. The children have shown us the way here, giving their Xmas money to help the orphaned children in the disaster aera, and much more.
So Sharon, this won't answer, as I am not knowledgeable enough or wise enough to do this, your questions re: shifts in energy, but perhaps my personal opinion that indeed there is a change now, which is fast becoming more and more perceptible. Energies alter all the time, and who knows why, what how?? I certainly don't. But if it awakens us to a better way of dealing with each other, and more understanding and tolerance, how wonderful is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
