I'm new to this site. I was wondering if someone can tell me what my Spirit Guide's name is. I've been trying to contact my guide for such a long time, with no luck at all. Can you help me? Thank you. It is much appreciated.:)
I feel this is something you will have to find out for yourself, so sorry there. Have you tried meditating, asking your guide to be there and show him/herself to you? Your guides will step forward when they feel you are ready to meet them.
I have been working with spirit for a good few years now and its only really been this past few years that i have learnt just two of my guides names. So keep at it, and when the time is right all will be revealed.

Starisheaw has given good advice.
You could be trying too hard and when we do this we actually push away that which we want.
You don't say how you are trying to make contact....your guide is there but you aren't recognising the signs, and this is very normal.
Ask your guide to show you something regularly in the material world.
Then try to forget about it.
When you keep seeing, or being drawn to, the same or similiar thing over a number of days, then this could be the name or persona of your guide.
Communication comes in many ways, shapes and forms, and it is about becoming aware of the signals and not discounting them.

Are you talking guardian angel/doorkeeper or guide? I would assume that you mean your doorkeeper. Any good medium that takes an awareness group will be able to give you or lead you to that information.
It would be helpful to know how you are trying to contact spirit.

Thank you so much for your most helpful reply. I'm sorry I didn't mention how I try to contact my guide. When I need a question answered, I ask my guide for signs. I usually get them, but I'm not sure if it's just a coinsidence. I always ask my guide to please tell me his/her name, and I get nothing. I'm always aware of looking for signs, and I feel I'm very open to it. No name has ever come to me.:confused:

I've been searching for my Spirit Guide's name for the longest time, with no luck. About a month ago my daughter kept waking up from her sleep, with the name Devon on her mind. She doesn't know anyone
by that name, and she asked me if I knew anyone by that name, I said no. Almost everyday since then, I have come across the name Devon. Could this be the name of my Spirit Guide given to me through my daughter:003:
Have you tired to use the Pendulum dowsing techniques as a way of communicating with your guide and possibly getting their name also. You could perhaps ask for confirmation if Devon is their name?

As spirit guides have been through the reincarnation process it could be that your spirit guide was alive in Devon in their last incarnation. It is well known that sometimes spirit guides give you the information in stages i.e. perhaps if you look at the history of Devon their name may well come out and hit you in the face so to speak.
Thank you Healistic and jackilou for your good advice. Healistic, I'm going to look up some information about Devon and see what I come up with.

Hi J .. my pendulum is saying 'Devon' is a message for your daughter (to explore).
As to your own explorations and names
(a) we have many spiritual guides .. the one we hear (above other interferrences) is our nature guide.
(b) to define the messages in our dreams.. and correlate them to exactly who is imparting a message/a bit of information to us .. also helps us to understand the different amount of spiritual guidance we ARE getting.
And i have to agree with Jackilou, about using a pendulum to get to these sorts of truths.
And then we ask if they have a name.
The others are correct in meditating/vision/lucid dreaming ... but often the messenger is more intent in giving you some information (even symbolically, as a vision) in this important connection, rather than in naming them.

Thank you oKa for your reply. It is much appreciated. I little while back, my daughter was home one day from work,and she heard a voice very close to her ear, say her name. I must say, that scared her. She didn't tell me about it until a long time after it happened. She also has had a few other odd things going on in her house. Maybe 'Devon' is the name of the voice she heard in her ear...Junouno :032:
