Hi.....to a point I feel that these threads are all highlighting the need for balance...& it's important for us all as individuals to find our own balance...too much emphisis (sp...again) on love will or could take a person off balance & like wise for too much hate & contempt...& how we find that balance, or infact where we need to focus our attention on is a personal thing...some people are more 'sunny' by nature were others more 'dark'...some are naturaly balanced...I think up bringing & genetics have a great deal to do with it.....plus marketing & consumers satisfation...this can go somewhere else...but our strengths & weaknesses are (IMO) a good marketing target so perhaps that could be why people look for retail therapy, drink, sex, big cars & ok religion/spirituality/cults ect to feel important & a false feeling of being someone:eek:...so..for those of us who seek a spiritual path to find more 'meaning' to our being...then first it's important to look within yourself & work on finding you inner balance & understanding yourself & then we'll understand others & respect them easier for being them...perhaps if everyone was to spend some time to seek their own inner balance then we may even create a butterfly effect...if we were all to find our own balance who knows...the planet may find balance also...no more starvation in one part of the word while somewhere else people get fatter & greedier.....just a thought[&:]
Bet not let us forget, anger is an energy...all those negative emotions are energies...it's how we channel those engeries that is in question...when I'm angery I make bread...I punch the [sm=angry-smiley-030.gif] out of the doe & afterwards I feel better & enjoy some fresh bread...no ones hurt & I'm free of the emotion...or I do house work..whatever...I use the energy..it;s within me so there for should be respected & I don't feel wrong or tick myslef off for having negitive emotions.....does that make sense

Yes, anger is a powerful energy. One thing the love and light sect annoy me with is the idea that we should let go of anger or, being human.... human is fine - who we are is fine... who we are, right now, here and now is perfect. For me, I rejsect all of the emphasis on *change*.... what if who we are right here and now is perfect, and change that comes to us is the natural change of our lives unfolding?
In terms of balance, it could be that all of the emphasis on *love and light* that has been around since the sixties has actually thrown the world out of balance, and sucked in all of the painful stuff that we see in the world today.......
There are many *love and light* workers working to envelope people in *bliss*... but to me this is just selling people illusion, dream - which is what some people want - but I don't want that, I want to know the truth, for real, ehat is what.... and I already know that *love* is only a part of human, and nothing to do with anything *divine*..... Love can easily be a prison. Inthe end, would wondering around loved up and loving everyone and everyhting be so great? If I loved everything, totally, then what worth would the love I have for those that I love really have?
Honestly, I think the love and light thing has had its day..... maybe it is time to embrace all of our being, including the *darker* sides.... without anger, there would be no passion.. without fear there would be no excitement...... the love and ight trip is an illusion, in my view - it is the totality of being human, the totality of our experience that makes life here worth experiencing.... and I don't buy for one second that there are other being swho are more *evolved* than us, *spiritualy* or otherwise... that is just the great pecking order, the great chain.... for me, there is no such thing, only the great forum of life, and each being, human, microbe, *spirit* stands equal to each other, each equally valid parts of the connection, with no being bowing to any other being....

Oh yes, but I thought this for ages now, ;)quite right .Xia., embrace ALL parts of our being: the light and the dark, for without them we are surely incomplete? The dark side of us is there, so it makes complete sense to acknowledge it and the reasons why. Without it, we would be unable to enjoy the full human experience, or to learn the importance of overcoming those darker parts in our nature.

has there been to much emphasis on Love & Light though...I don't really think there has...I still feel the balance is more to the greed, disatisfation, contempt, self obsecesed myself...I think many preach Love & light but perhaps few follow it...without even realising it....Love & Light & all that..love, light...love..I think perhaps we should understand the meaning more first...Light..I see light as undersatnding, illuminating, warmth...dark...I see as confusion, fear, ignorance..I woudln't send love & dark....I'll finish my reply & I'll post LOVE AMY...I'm not in love with you, I don't dislike you...but I wouldn't end my words REGARDS AMY or WITH CONTEMPT AMY...:eek:...after all it's just a word but it has a feeling of 'welcome' with it & feels friendly don't you think?....

I do actually agree with alot of what you say...but I do feel you are on a bit of a trip yourself here...your telling us that Love & light has had it's day....I think that perhaps we should understand the meaning of it more...maybe it's just become a bit 'clouded' with the stale second hand preaching from those who'e learnt from the book & use the words to light up the path for others not truley understanding what they are teaching yet still asuming they can tell me/us I'm wrong, your wrong, the way we go about things....all things,....I wouldn't ever assume to tell another how to find their spiritaul path...or that they're wrong...I only have opinions...other then that I know nothing😉
