RE: Is there no-one brave enough?

Hi Doq,

I honestly don't accept channellings form any 'Archangel' so you are talking to someone grounded in this reality, with an understanding that there are many more;) As Einstein said,

Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish.

I know of people who have seen this film, which I very much wanted to see myself, who have said it is the most utter rubbish. I have also known people who have been ovewhelmed by what they saw as Truth within that film. Somewhere in the middle is where I usually land up;)

I am a lover of Jung and study him, I have many books here, but, I don't always agree with him, in particular regarding some of the writings re: dreams, and with regard to the shadow self. I believe is simply an excuse for aberant human behaviour.

Wonderful discussion, I am enjoying it immensley.;)

Love Gxxx

Evil is not false. It is a fact of our existence. We are told that Jesus cast out demons - he didn't annihilate them but cast them out. There is a great evil at large in this world - but, as long as we are aware of this and can work to transform it, evil will never defeat good - and we can utilize the knowledge learnt to further the evolutionary development of our Higher Selves.

Exactly, whether we acknowledge this - or try to find ways or ignoring it, it happens to be the truth.

Please tell me what the very recent bombings in Londan and B'ham represent, if not evil? Ask the families of the victims how they feel - as I am sure they have not been visited by any Archangel in the last 2 days.

Dear Carolyn

My brain could well believe and, indeed, does. My spirit also believes.
This thread has served to help enlighten us all even further in our quest - all things are tools for the Divine.
Thank you, Spirit Talk.

I continue to hold you, Carolyn, in love - as always.

Gilly

If anything, I am nearer your position than in the channelling camp - however in the last few years, people I know well and trust have been channelling, and it is an interesting source of info, which one has to maintain discernment about - but also recognise truth where seen, and not reject out of hand.

the reason I quoted that passage was because it addressed the issue of non-attachment which I associate with the higher levels of self mastery, and this aspect is central to the personal development work I do.

What The Bleep is valuable as it illustrates scientific thought converging with spiritual matters - I would say that anyone dismissing the film as rubbish is likely to have a closed mind to start with.

Glenys

I have also had personal experience of spirit attachment, exorcism, etc - however it is my interpretation of these events which differs. As life coaches say - 'whether you believe you are can, or whether you believe you can't, you are right'. Our beliefs create our realities. I do not believe that encountering misguided spirits is proof of evil - as Denise Linn said once about such spirits - 'If a schmuck down here, then a schmuck up there'! (or words to that effect - it was a while ago).

I believe that all of us down here are capable of any sort of action, be it 'good' or 'evil' - the thing is we have to exercise choice. to deny our ability to do negative acts is a complete delusion in my opinion and experience.

Even the Archangel Michael could not annihilate the evil forces, he could only keep them bound.
Those people must be going through torture - especially those who don't even know for sure if their loved one is one of the dead or not.

I can only look back at how some of the family members of those who lost their lives in 9/11 found strength and love enough not to demand retribution but, rather, to try and change things in other ways.

Neither Islam nor Christianity have their roots in violence but in love, compassion and respect. I have little time for Religion - too many atrocities have been, and continue to be, committed in its name.
Faith is a completely different thing.

We must continue to work in the Light and have trust in the Divine.
Usually, before I do a Reiki course or any Lightwork, I find there are always problems. The computer or printer goes on the blink; the car plays me up; I have started to believe that I am on the right track when obstacles start to appear to try and prevent me moving on!

I believe the only way forward is through love - but we must be aware of the evil, the lesser love, that will try to prevent us moving on.
Unconditional love? Well, I have to say I don't know how I feel about that term. Do we love the cancerous cell as much as the healthy cell? Would giving the cancerous cell unconditional love change it to a non-cancerous cell or would it give the message that it was okay to be a cancerous cell so to carry on growing.....

Holding your hand, in spirit, and sending much love
Glenys
