Just replying to a post in shamanism and had a thought.
As I progress up the spiritual tree (so to speak) I feel that I have been given more powerful guides at each step. I have been told from the time I was young that I had very strong presance around me and as I grew up was told by various people that I had very strong and powerful guides around me which I now know to be true.
Just wondering if people have noticed the same thing that as the progress through the spiritual gateways that they have been met with more powerful guides.

If growth and progress are the characteristics of spiritual development it follows that each step along the way has greater dimension and greater clarity.
We would hesitate to use the words power and strength in the ways that you use them, however. All true spiritual guides have the intensity of all creation at their disposal, but not all guides themselves are fully developed. You are able to reach only the guides who match your developmental level, therefore as you progress you are able to work with other beings who have grown to your understanding. Therein lies the unity with those guides and the feeling of rightness.
As you grow in your oneness with Spirit you are able to reach higher levels of consciousness, not the other way around.
