Agree Doq, about closed minds, which is why I wish to see the film. It hasn't turned up here yet though!!!;) When it does, Art and I are there:D First in 'Q':D Be good to discuss it when seen.
Channelling - oh Lord Doq, I have over the past few years been given some 'channelling' which begs belief[:-] I certainly don't reject it out of hand - I simpy try to see if the source is genuine. I have personally come across very few. Which makes me think that most channelling is brought about via Ego. Now by saying this, I do NOT in any way refute the channellings on HP as I am not qualified to do so.
Yes, again agreed, non attachment is the only way to really see beyond our current existance. Most of us are unable to achieve this on a daily basis;)

I beg to disagree with you Garthur, Christianity was indeed bought about by violence, by the Cruxifixion of Christ, in order to make the point that there is no death.

Evil is not false. It is a fact of our existence. We are told that Jesus cast out demons - he didn't annihilate them but cast them out. There is a great evil at large in this world - but, as long as we are aware of this and can work to transform it, evil will never defeat good - and we can utilize the knowledge learnt to further the evolutionary development of our Higher Selves.
But, make no mistake, evil is a very real phenomenon. To the individual it can be terrifying, stultifying and tempting. To stand against anything we must first know and recognize what it is we stand against.
I agree with you here, Garthur, absolutely.

I agree that encountering misguided spirits is not proof of evil. But there are different types of spirit - some are trapped energies that manifest as hauntings; some are the lost, misguided ones which you indicated but there are others - entities rather that spirits - that can be said to be evil.
But, yes, we are all capable of "good" or "evil" and to deny this is, as you say, delusory.
Energyatwork: Yes, that most certainly is its nature!
But hasn't it been interesting?
