I don't think that was the intention of the Jref thread.
We had some people get their messages taken off the Court TV board simply because we disagreed. We were very careful not to swear or demean anyone. We just wanted a chance to debate with people who didn't hold out views. Still the messages were deleted.
I took the thread you are talking about as tips on how to properly act in a foreign forum. Some people are under the impression that you will ban people just for being a skeptic. In fact Turtle, from the thread in question, claimed to do just that. This is why it was suggested not to use our Jref names or mention that we are from that site. I of course, just did that. Hopefully I won't be banned for it, as I'm not here to cause trouble. Just to hear an opposing view

Messages removed from the Court TV forum was awhile ago, and has nothing to do with this forum, or the current thread on how to go after 'woos' on forums like this on JREF.
It is possible you were not one of the skeptics guilty of bad behavior, but a few most certainly were.
And I (for I am "turtle" on other forums) have said several times now that only those skeptics, or rather, the so-called skeptics who are of the debunker variety, and the trouble making kind, are the ones who are not welcome in most of my forums. I do have one forum where they.are allowed though. . you are misrepresenting what I have said. You are implying that I "ban" all skeptics right off, and, that I do this in all my forums. Untrue, as you know.
This is a prime example of the kind of behavior we are talking about. Either willfully ignoring the actual content of what is being said, or, too inept to read what is actually posted.
You are also, by association, associating me with Court TV as far as banning goes. Whle I do post over there under"barbie" I have absolutely nothing to do with what moderators there decide to do to members.

I know what you mean Lyssa. I for one was feeling uncomfortable about posting, not because of what I believe in, but because "they" might take the mickey out of my spelling and grammer[&o]
I have come to the conclusion....who gives a flying fig leaf????
HP is more than a debating forum, its a family, it radiates love and support, and I for one will not be put off posting because I LOVE IT HERE!:D

To true Donna, a family is what we are and no doubt people who are skeptics are here in this life learning a lesson also, as we all are.;)

Operaider and Rubynatasha, please if you have issues then take them away from this forum, it is not the place...
