Sitting here reading some of the other posts, and i have just realised that i DON'T EVER dream. Well i say i don't dream what i mean is i never remember anything if i do dream. Infact the only time i can ever remember dreaming is when i gave up smoking a few years ago and was using patches (this was before the new 16 hour ones were around, and therefore i had to wear them all night).
Strange?.........Probably not :D;)

Dear magic mum

You can instruct your conscousness to remember and experience your dreams if you wish. But you could be off doing other planetary work of a night hence no dreams.

Sorry what do you mean by this?

I was informed and always believed that dreams are merely a way of the mind putting everything that has happened during the day in some kind of order, these 'thoughts' are then filed neatly away for us to start our day afresh the following day. This has been confirmed time after time too when freinds share their strange dreams with me........................you can usually trace everything that has happened in your dreams to something that has happened or something that has been bothering you in the previous day(s).

RE: To dream or not to dream

Hi again Magic Mum

I frequently get direction in my dreams as to where I should be concentrating my efforts - if I ask a particular question, I often get the answer but it is generally symbolic, and I have to mull over it the next morning to get the significance.[sm=scratchchin.gif]

Having said that, if I drink even a glass of wine the night before, either my dreams are scrambled, or I don't remember them at all;)

RE: To dream or not to dream

Hi MagicMum, Some dreams are playbacks, for example, if you watched a scary movie, you may have a scary dream, but you can relate that back to the scary movie you watched.

That example aside, dreams are messages from your higher self to you. You can trust your dreams for this is a way in which your higher self chooses to communicate with you, and it does this symbolically. The universe speaks in symbolism.

If you begin to keep a dream journal and jotting down everything you can remember about your dreams, the mood of the dream, the emotion you felt, any colours etc, you will in time be able to interpret your dreams very well, even ask questions or confirmation about things.

By keeping a dream journal, you are signalling to your higher self that you intend to work with your dreams, and it will gladly co-operate.

Apparently the night before sailing on the Titanic, a big percentage of those that were due to sail on her dreamt that it was going to sink. However, some choose to still sail and the rest is history.

Dreams are always trying to tell us something!

Love and light
