My partner had a dream last night. He had been killed and had walked up the stairs to heaven. He wasn't allowed in and was told to go back down to earth to find out how he had died. When he reached the bottom of the stairs, he felt himself being stabbed over and over. Thinking that must be how he was killed, he went back up the stairs. He was turned away again. The second time, he felt himself being shot over and over. Off he went back up the stairs.

He woke up before he reached the top this time. A couple of days before, he had told me he had walked up and down stairs quite a few times at work so I'm guessing that was what part of the dream was about.
