last night I dreamt that a lion was loose, I picked my 12 year old up and put him in a play pen for safety, but this turned into a cage, and out of the dark corner the lion emerged, which means I put son in a cage with a lion.
But my son approached the lion and put his arms around him and gave him a hug.
Later on I gave my son a bottle of red wine to give to the lion to sedate him.
Mmm, maychang, it seems to me that the lion is you... or rather, your developing power and strength - who you really are. View the lion as your solar plexus, seat of gut feelings and power-will, symbol of your individuation, and you may begin to get the picture.
Your inner child is perfectly comfortable with the fire within - the fierce you. Maybe things changed in your teens when you learnt to fit in with others, with how you felt you were supposed to behave. Maybe you actually had to be more responsible for some reason - you had to give up the fun and laughter of life to some extent. But the real 'you' is emerging now. You may, in real life, try to sedate it with the odd glass of red wine. Next time, sit with the feelings that are surfacing. Let them flow.
Also, I found that I wanted to write your name as follows: 'may change'. You have a choice right now. If you reconnect with the roar within, there will be some changes in your life, ultimately good for you and those around you.
The lion is about pleasing yourself, and realising that this is a good, ultimately healthy thing to do.
As with any dream interpretation, if any of these thoughts resonate with you, keep them. If they don't, just let them go.
Good luck 🙂
