hmm..sometimes hard to tell, sometimes our higher self communicates with us through dream state with warnings and awareness, but sometimes fears can come from the sub-conscious.

So my advice is to go within and ask yourself what do I feel is true, is this my innermost fears or is this my soul warning and preparing me for what's coming?

I wonder if it's your insecurities' way of showing themselves Gail. I've had dreams like that and there was nothing to them at all. I realised that I was feeling insecure about some things and my fears were surfacing in my dreams. Hopefully that's all it is for you.

I hav dreams about my Hubby doing the dirty on me all of the time.
Infact he is always a complete b****rd to me in my dreams.

Poor man! I say to him 'I had a dream about you last night ' and he always says 'what have I done this time' !!!!!

Its strange tho because we are really happy/easy going and he is a fantastic man. He is NOTHING like the man in my dreams.

i also have dreams where my partner of 10 yrs is having an affair with someone from work.
Its seems quite common for us femails, which helps in a way,im not the only one!
I had a dream book which said that it was my own insecurities about my situation in the relationship that needed to be addressed and that i should concentrate more on my own self asteem. Which was true for me because it was at low points in my life that these nasty dreams would surface .

I think it is my insecurites as Chris just isn't the type and everybody says so, he adores me but we both have new jobs and I suffer from depression... it's must be my mind working over time.

Hi, Trinity,

I often end up hating my man in my sleep. I can even tell that he's lying next to me sometimes, and this really infuriates me. Sometimes I wake up and spend a few minutes giving myself a talking to, or I wake him up (poor love) to check it wasn't real.

Just like you, I think he's lovely when I'm awake and I wonder if it's to do with not wanting to lose what you have - I mean, I really appreciate him after these dreams.

Yeah I feel the same! It is strange how these dreams can carry on effecting us for a while after we have woken up!

I agree, probably because we know we've got good uns!!!;)

Hi girls!

I had a laugh when reading the above. It must definately be a female thing because I used to have dreams like this too. I would be so upset/angry with my husband and it would last for a long while after waking. He would groan and say "what have I done NOW?" Glad to say now we are a lot older the dreams faded (much to his relief!).

There was an occasion in my life where I was sat on a sofa at my mother's house and I was so worried about something but I didn't know what it was and there was no reason for it. After a while I came to realise that I was worried about my girlfriend. Finally I couldn't take it any more so I rang her mobile. She answered and she sounded flustered (if that's the right thing) and she was saying things like "Oh no, I've done something really bad" and she was looking for her bra. I had rang her when she was just about to have sex with another man. What I was feeling, sat there on my mother's sofa was true fear.
I forgave her because she was abused horrifically before I met her, infact I met her whilst she was being abused. Over the years I have tried my hardest to help her, unfortunatly she's still troubled and I'm not the same person I was before I met her; I have woken up to reality.
Anyway, the point was that I just knew and I was right.

Hi all,

It's funny! Woman must be so insecure as I dream ALL the time (well most of my dreams anyway) that my hubby is cheating on me! I also dream that my ex is trying to take me away from him and I'm crying "but I don't love you I want to stay here!" I think I'm just worried that what I have (and I'm happy) will all come to an end!

I was going to send a post asking about this topic and was so relieved to see it had been discussed already. I too have been having dreams about my boyfriend going off with other girls lately and it leaves me feeling quite disturbed for a while. He is a fantastic guy and I know in my heart of hearts that deep down it is just my fear of losing him and that would be the most awful way it could happen to me, thus it comes out in my dreams... well us women do get it bad!!
