Hello, yesterday, I had a Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, and a Novasure Ablation. During surgery, my Surgeon found that I had very bad Endometriosis, so he treated it.
He also found that my vaginal wall is stuck to my lower bowel. He couldn`t do anyting to it as I need to have an empty bowel, etc. So I need to have surgery to release it.
It never worried me, but since he has told me, a few things that have occured, make it obvious that there was a problem.
Does anyone know if this condition has a name?
Thankyou.
Barb x

think you may be describing adhesions.

there does not necessarily need to be a condition to cause adhesions, it could just be caused by your endo or scar tissue from previous surgery......

Adhesions in the abdominal cavity are the result of inflammatory processes. As you have endometriosis then it is quite likely to be the result of that. There is a good description of the [DLMURL="http://www.marilynglenville.com/general/endometriosis.htm"]process here[/DLMURL].

What is important is not so much giving your problem a name as to ask why it happened in the first place and what to do to help recover from the situation. Marilyn Glenville's site has plenty of information (I don't need to repeat them here), but suffice it to say it is quite possible to say that the modern Western processed diet is in no way helpful! There are useful vitamins, minerals and herbs, but these are best prescribed by a qualified herbalist or nutritional therapist.

I had endometriosis years ago and my doc wanted to give me some drug to block all estrogen, which would make it go away, supposedly. It also would have given me a beard and hairy chest! I saw a certified herbalist who, after a course of about three months of herbs, cured the problem.
