Can you believe it, the surgery would for those who want to get pregnant, but I should persevere, or ring the hospital. Remember I have waited over a week for the appointment.
Am absolutely :012:
so on top of my period pains, back pain, itchy scalp I am now absolutely incandescent.
Surely I still have some rights??!!
Sorry to rant!

Was it the nurse you saw? Perhaps she isn't allowed to remove it. Any chance you could ring the surgery and ask to talk to your GP and tell him/her just how bad this thing is making you feel and will he/she please remove it asap. If they refuse, then ring NHS 24 or go to A&E - which I think I told you I did, having had the Copper 7 installed.
Hi Jabba
It was the only person in the surgery who removes them, and I had explained my situation last week when I made the appointment.
I have given myself a headache because I am so angry!!!
Am awaiting a call back from the hospital, although am very tempted to try other options just to get this thing sorted and out!!!

Do you have a family planning clinic in your area? They may be able to help. That is horrendous. Best of luck.
