Hello
Im not sure whats going on at the mo. I have a daughter who is 18mths old and have been trying for number 2 for 7mths now.
I start spotting a couple of days before each period usually. Then when my period properly starts i get very ill, diorheer (cant spell that!), nausea, dissyness. It lasts about 4 days but goes from being just about managable to not being able to look after my LO. My periods are not heavy or painfull. Spotting then continues for a few days after. This has been going on for about 6 mths now (seems to be since we started trying for no.2) and in the last couple of months i have also started spotting from a couple of days after ovulation up to my period.
I have been to the dr and had loads of tests but they havent come up with anything. The spotting might be down to cervical errosion but we are not sure until i see a gynicologist in a few months.
Has anyone else struggled with their periods like this? How have you coped? I just dread every one at the mo and really cant go on like this. Is there anything i can do to stop myself getting so ill? The dr has sugested i try to put on some weight (BMI 20.5) but i have no idea how that will help! I am considering some reflexology. I should add that feeling sick is not new for me, i feel sick most days which we have never really got to the bottom of.
any help and advice would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello- I think all these symptoms are typical of someone whose overall level of health has just dipped down a bit. -They're vague- hard for doctors to diagnose from - and make your life hell!
Personally, I would opt for some complementary treatment- although I think you've done the right think by getting checked by your doctor- because therapies like reflexology, homeopathy or acupuncture for example, can be great at bringing your energy levels back into balance.
I can only assume that your doctor's thinking that if you put a little weight on, it would help to correct any hormonal imbalance,( which could be a reason for the symptoms). HTH Hom
Taking some essence of Moonstone will help with periods. A very feminine crystal and works wonders with period issues.
I recommended some to a lady some months ago who suffered from bad periods, she tells me there has been a marked improvement.
