fast weight loss,help getting married

Wasnt sure where to put this one

Im getting married in october and really would like to lose another 2stone (atleast one before the day)

does any body know any ways to lose weight fast? i dont want to look this big on my wedding day.

But - eeeek - two stone before October is tall order if you want to do it healthily. A stone - that is do-able if you are committed to it. I lost a stone in a month on the slimming world diet - and a total of 4 stone so far this year, so I can recommend it very highly!

I am sure there are meal replacement/shakes only diets which you can do which may be equally quick if not quicker, but IMHO these are not teaching you to eat sensibly and you are therefore more likely to put it all on again when you stop doing them.

Do you really want to look like someone who isn't you in your wedding pics? Every bride looks stunning on the day and you will be no exception. I am now thinner than I was on my wedding day and I still can believe how well I scrubbed up.

I would recommend eating sensibly before now and your big day and you will feel fantastic and healthy and.....oh I am so envious. I love a good wedding!

Hi

I am in an online EFT grp for weight loss. It is excellent and free.

and I am easily slimming back down to the size I want to be..mind you I do not have a lot to lose..am not much over my ideal size at the mo

You get a daily newsletter with a short audio to tap to and are asked to blog on the site at least once a week.

A 2 stone loss is a tall order, if you only have about 4 weeks, but this eft group would be a great help and will make you feel better about yourself whatever your size

Congratulations, I'm sure you will have a wonderful day.

I'm a Life Coach and the most important thing I have found that works for my clients in both the short and long term is eating sensibly and healthily and increasing your exercise.

Make sure that you pick healthy foods that you love and exercise that you enjoy. Your GP will advise you what's a healthy level of exercise for you.

The key thing to remember is that a lot of little steps make a really big difference

I'm sure your future Husband thinks you are gorgeous just the way you are, although I'm sure you will feel much more confident and comfortable knowing you are healthy and full of energy.

This way you'll be able to enjoy yourself and the wedding cake, knowing you will just go back to a normal healthy way of life after all the festivities.

Hi Saz,

I think that one of the simplest and effective way to lose weight would be to cut out grains (wheat/bread, rice, pasta, etc) and drink lots of ionized alkaline water (3+ litres per day).

Cereals (starches) are acidifying; acidifying foods can lead to obesity because the body needs to manufacture "fat" to store the acid wastes that are created as the body acts to restore alkaline balance.

The body also manufactures cholesterol to compensate for lack of water in the cells (because we tend not to drink enough of the right water that the body needs) - the job of the fat being to stop water loss.

There are many documented cases of people achieving significant weight loss simply by alkalizing and hydrating their body - try it and see for your self.

Yes I agree..fast weight loss tend to come back with a vengence..so be always mindfull of the consequences of what you are doing to shock your body in such a short space of time..

Having said that.. EFT could help..so give that a try..as it works wonders to my clients in managing their emotional cravings and various trigger situations..

Also be realistic...1.5lb-2lb weight loss per week is considered healthy, which means in the next 4-5 weeks you can expect to comfortably shed 6-8lb in weight loss ..not more than say a stone is realistic..even if the dangerous route via lotions, pills and potions may accelerate this to a 2stone mark..

Key is to care for your body in the right way..PM me if you want some specific tips and strategies..

iv done the whole not eating, drinking slimfast 3times aday (even though your not supost to) iv done only eating 1000cals a day, iv done not eating just drinking. im running out of ideas, which i know all these were wrong but realy want to lose weight

Some common sense tips

Dear Saz,

Thank you ..Got your mail..hope you don't mind me posting the answer to your question here..so others can benefit from the tips too..

So here goes:

Quick fixes are more dangerous and tend not to work...which means you need to anticipate and plan way ahead in time for any big day that you wish to loose weight..(I know..this may not help you..but still follow these following tips:...)

* Avoid skipping any meal..as you are more likely to get ravenous later and eat all the wrong things you don't want ..which are higher in claories anyway!!..Esp don't skip breakfast!!

* Eat plenty of superfoods ..atleast 3-5 minimum per day..

* Plan your menues..

* Eat three meals and two snacks ..evenly spaced out during your waking hours..avoid eating heavy meals beyond 7pm..

* Take up a sport that you can maintain (2-3 x/ wk)..don't waste your time taking up a gym membership if you are not going to keep up..waste of time/money!
Take up tango or salsa or whatever that you will enjoy that is going to keep yor heart rate up for a good 30-45 minutes 🙂

* Drink Grape-fruit juice (fresh) one glass , 30 minutes before your main meal..Chemical called CCK in this juice will supress any excessive cravings or hunger..

* Avoid having specific weight target..but focus on getting that tonned and slimmer look ..by working out to sculpt your body better and learn to wear clothes that can be slimming..yet stunning on you..
