A Sensitive Subject for me!

About 3 years ago my smear test showed up abnormal. Yes i panicked, but went through the usual tests and found out i had pre-cancer cells (CIN 3). I had 2 options, the first to have a them removed by laser or loop, and the other was hysterectomy. I opted for the first one, but it didnt work. So after my check i told the specialist i wanted the hysterectomy, as it was the only way to get the cells out of my body! After that, i was fine for a couple of years, until i began to itch intensly down below. At first i thought it was thrush (automatic reaction), but after buying all kinds of treatments for thrush i realised it wasnt that. So i braved going to the doctors. She referred me to the hospital, where i had more tests, one being colposcopy. This showed i had warts. I sat with the doctor so he could explain about these warts, and was shocked to find out that they were sexually transmitted. My first thoughts were, how did i get them (and unless you know my full lifes story, you wont understand fully what im about to say), and how could i get rid of them. When all this was explained to me, the next thing i did was to blame my husband as he had a rash for years (apparantly long before me, but only had it seen to once) and it just made sense. When i returned to the hospital for the results from the colposcopy, i was horrified. Not only did i have these warts, they had the same pre-cancer cells (CIN3) within them. You can imagine what i was like when i was told that!! I was told that i would have to attend the colposcopy clinic every six months thereafter. Anyway, i've been into hospital twice now for treatment (laser), and after each one they seem to come back again, and this seems like almost a month between each. After the last treatment, i payed close attention to the area to see if they came back - and they did! But i had an appointment to be seen in May. I've looked at several different sites on the net, and most say that once they re-occur you most definately have them for life. My Question is, can i really have these laser treatments at the rate im going? There wont be much left (if you know what i mean) to laser. And is there anyone else that has the same problem and knows what im going through? Or is there anyone out there that knows of any other alternative treatment that they are not telling me? I'm finding it hard coping with this medical problem of mine, and my husband doesnt really understand. If he did, he would go get his rash seen to, but he won't. Dont get me wrong, he may be feeling awkward about it, but surely its something that should be done! He knows im upset about it, especially knowing the pre-cancer cells are back, but all the time he doesnt go get checked out, i'm starting to dislike him for it. Doq - not panicking so much now - i know about the bleeding afterwards (not my first and probably not my last)
