I urgently need some info please.
I read a while ago that it is common to miscarry easily with PCOS.
Why is this please.
Is it because the corpus luteum is fragile? and is there anything that can be done to help avoid the early miscarriages?
Is it usually ok after 12 weeks when the placenta takes over maintaining the pregnancy?

I have PCOS and have never heard that it is more likely to miscarry either in my personal or work life....so im interested in this news. however I do know not that a lot of women with PCOS take clomid and that can slightly increase your risk of miscarrage but again this is only the first 12 weeks as far as i am aware...

I did a search after that post, on Pcos and early miscarriage, and was amazed at how many results came up. It confirmed what I thought I had read. Tiscali had a really good article and I was able to print it off in time for my client. You might like to look at it.
