I have little skin flaps coming on my neck, and I have no idea how to get rid of them.......Is there something that will move them. Research hasn't given me any answers......hope someone on here can!!
Hi Jualsy,
Most GPs will remove them for you, or if not, they will refer you to someone who can.
Myarka.
I have mine 'harvested' every 3 years! My GP loves doing it - it means he can pretend to be a surgeon for 10 minutes! My first two developed at the two 'corners' of my mouth - very irritating, but took seconds to remove and never re-developed. Since then, they have popped up in various places, usually under my arms, or on my tummy. I could ignore them if I wanted to, but with a history of skin cancer in my family, I like the reassurance. It is painless, although, one on my tummy was quite large, so he smeared it with some analgesic ointment and then snipped it off - I even got an elastoplast for that one!
Are these the same as skin tags?
If so, I had one and the doc told me how to remove it myself. Tie a piece of cotton around it as tight as you can then cover with a plaster. Leave it for a couple of days and rip the plaster off, the skin tag came with it. Mind you it was only a small tag, about the size of a pin head.

I have them as well, mostly on my legs. They are a darned nuisance there as I tend to catch them putting on tights.
Good idea to see your doctor and have them removed surgically.
I had a nasty wart removed from my neck and it was removed in mins,no problem.
