I had a taster session once. It lasted about 10 mins. Its hard to explain really. I wouldn't say it hurts. It just feels like a small abrasive pad going across the skin at high speed (which is precisely what it is) The only time it hurt a bit was when it was done in the same place a few times. I must admit it felt great afterwards. But the next day i could see no difference.

well had it done today and i was very impressed and it didnt hurt a bit! relaxing and she gave me face mask as well! also removed three milia ( bumps on my upper eyelid and reduced the two between my eyelids) that hurt though!that was at no charge which was nice of her,and I felt it was so cheap compared to laser hair therapy!
went in 2.05pm and came out 3.45pm! she also gave me advice on skincare and asked questions. great for£37.50!( had 25% off offer) skin feels smoother, whiter( lol must have been dirty before!) and glows!!she also did my neck and top of shoulders.will have it done again, next month probably!

make sure you follow her homecare advice though...especially with regards to using an SPF...

beautystudent, yes I told to use SPF 50 but have 30 and 40 for now becasue of laser hair therapy and sun damage as she ould lots of brownies as she calls freckles lol on my face( vision of small people on my face!!!) through small tent thing on my head. spf all the time even through winter. lots of water, fruit and veg good for skin.
the discount was becasue i was customer already and came in for 6mth open day thing and she posted me extra5% off had to be booked on the day( great incentive for business i find) hence 25% off. but I will be happy to pay full price next time £50 as she did good.:045:

I have microdermabrasion every 2-3 months and I think it's wonderfull. It doesn't exactly work miracles but it certainly makes your skin a lot smoother. Very good for treating ache scars and blackheads.
