Hello beautiful souls 🙂
the reason why I'm writing this post is cause I would like to have some advices from you experts maybe older and with more experience. I'm coming from a journey of almost 28 years and I've finally realized which one and where is the problem.
The question is "How to talk to deepest part of yourself and let your soul let go of the old rooted toxic patterns?"
Deep rooted in myself there is anxiety; lack of self-worth; lack of self-esteem; lack of self-love. My soul tells people from the deepest that I cannot do it and for that I often fail in the day to day life. There is as well a sacrificial edge to it, like if deeply I don't feel I'm enough good and think I should exist.... that brought me having a very toxic relationship last year, where I almost got killed. Often I backfired myself.
I can finally be in contact with the deepest part of myself and yes I can finally feel it.... but the pattern is too rooted like if it is an existential problem and my soul doesn't want to let go because it's scared. I'm there everyday listening to her but nothing. I lately bought a crystal called Charoite, as a gesture of love to help her letting go of the fears but nothing my soul is too scared to let go and embrace a new way of living.
Any advice?
There is to say that I have even lost the crystal 🙂 it was the first very special to me.
You need to change focus, you are in dialogue with your core way of being aspect of consciousness, this is the seat of your beliefs concerning self, these are your personal beliefs that you have created in response to your life experience to date, you have another aspect of self within your consciousness which is your higher self, this is what you need to be talking to for this exists outside of your current set of underlying thought patterns and beliefs.
You are free to create whatever you want within the fullness of self so that you can be in experience, you obviously are now tired of your current experience so are looking to change it, so are being show this core belief that is creating your current life experience so that you can choose to continue with it or to choose to change it, the choice is yours.
The next time you get a thought that you are not good enough, simply ask yourself when you first chose to believe this with an open mind, you should be taken back to what was happening at the time you chose to embrace that core belief, this sort of belief often starts with someone who we deem to be important appearing to put us down, something could be said in as a joke, yet we choose to throw our dummy out and say to self, that from this moment forward I will be whatever they have told me I am! Then your core way of being aspect of consciousness responds with your wish is my command and you have created a core belief that will focus your life experience to fit that core belief until you choose to change it.
I hope that helps. 🙂
By one of those coincidences that comes up in this kind of work, I was dealing with a similar problem yesterday. A small workshop, the last meeting of a 3 year shamanic practitioner wor shop and one of the participants was in just this situation. R has felt himself to be completely unworthy all of his life and this has broken his marriage and all relationships that he has had. We have known him for about 20 years but it was only yesterday that - in a very intense talk with my partner and fellow teacher, Christine, and one other student who was working on him - that we managed to get him to say how he felt and to ask for help. This was a huge relief to us as R seemed to be completely shutting down.
Once he had asked for help we could give it (shamanic healing, extracting the feeling of un worth and bringing back both lost soul and power).
During the healing he broke down - the first emotions he has allowed himself - and afterwards he was glowing, happy and confident for the first time in his life.
Today, I intend to do some shamanic counselling with him. I think we've had a great breakthrough.
I hope this helps.

I would agree with Paul in looking back to uncover when you first had this core belief in low self esteem. Was it always this way? Can you recall a time when you felt otherwise, i.e. empowered? If so, what changed that?
I feel you have a strange concept of what our soul is. If you have ever meditated then you would have a better understanding of what this is...it is our true essence/core energy devoid of our worldly ID/ego with its thoughts and emotions.
You tire of this ingrained "toxic" thought pattern yet say you are scared to let go. What does letting go involve/change? The old pattern is where you are beating yourself up mentally - could it be fear of failure (very common)? Who says you have to get it right first time you break away from your chains? Baby steps would be prudent. Try and stretch yourself just a little each day...try and go a bit further than you think you can.
You hint that it is like an existential problem. Do you mean that life is meaningless? Perhaps as you currently experience it this may be how you feel. It does sound like you are really ripe for changing and so that bodes well. The time has come now to empower yourself. Are you familiar with doing visualisations and/or practising affirmations? The important point about affirmations is that they seem possible, i.e. not too far fetched. It has to resonate with you.
Cultivating a positive mindset is key here. Being aware of your thoughts and changing them i.e. "I can't" to "so far I have not been able to". This is a cornerstone of cognitive behavioural therapy that successfully treats those that are depressed; it occurred to me that this may well be your predicament.

Your definition of soul is not the 'correct' one. We all come to different understandings. My understanding is quite different to yours.
By the way, my student turned up this morning happy and content. "I woke up smiling", he said, "and my power is constantly with me."

??? Unfortunately, yet again you seem to think I am using my own definition of a word when that is not the case. Crowan, what I describe is NOT my definition of what our soul is but the commonly shared understanding of this based on those who are spiritualised and also a constant reference of this is widespread in ancient spiritual teachings.
So, what is your definition of it then?
You said

This is either what you have been told (or what you have read) or it is an understanding you have come to. Therefore it is your definition.
I can't see how soul loss, for example, could fit into your definition. I'm happy with the dictionary definition - the spiritual part of a being that is considered immortal.

"What I have been told" is, as mentioned, the commonly shared understanding of this based on those who are spiritualised and also a constant reference of this is widespread in ancient spiritual teachings. So...you are saying that they are all wrong then and you must be right? The dictionary is very basic/elementary and therefore is a pale/poor rendition of experienced understanding about souls.

"What I have been told" is, as mentioned, the commonly shared understanding of this based on those who are spiritualised and also a constant reference of this is widespread in ancient spiritual teachings. (However, MORE than this, it is what I have found to be true when I am in a mystical state). Therefore it is not just what I have read - by so many sources - but also my UNDERSTANDING of what the soul means...so, it's very far from being my definition isn't it?
Saying it is my definition is a peculiar distortion, undermining me and doing me an injustice since you are endeavouring to make it seem that the definition is exclusive to myself and, in so doing this, you overlook/dismiss the millions of others who share that same definition throughout history.
So...you are saying that they are all wrong then and you must be right?
The general dictionary is very basic/elementary and therefore is a pale/poor rendition of experienced understanding about souls. Dictionaries work well with common vocabulary but show their limitations with specialised knowledge, hence why you get special dictionaries for various subjects. I think we may be still waiting for a spiritual dictionary! 😉
With apologies to RightThere for this unwanted, prolonged detour.

How do you get to this?
How do you get to this?
You first started disagreeing with my post by saying Your definition of soul is not the 'correct' one.
Hi PAUL, so basically what you are saying is that I'm having inner thoughts and that it is still on a conscious level right? I'm just trying to get what you wrote 🙂
I had some sessions with a trans-medium and just through her I realized that deeply in myself there are these issues that are not allowing me to have a more respectful life where I love and trust myself . I want to respect myself as I've all the right to be on this planet and exist but deeply in myself (my understanding) is that I haven't really got that..... and that's why I'm manifesting the life I'm manifesting. I have even been kicked out from a college as deeply in myself I don't really think I can make it and this is why people are doing that to me...cause my soul tells them I'm not worth it.
Only lately I feel that I'm more in contact with my inner self (you said that anyway is still on a conscious level). I feel theses limits, they are right there and I can perceive them.
You said it's a choice but deeply in myself apparently I'm not allowing myself and letting go as this little child (or how you want to call it) is anxious and full of fears. Anxiety and Fears they are not allowing him to let go.
I don't really have thoughts that I'm not good enough as apparently it is a deep state of being. Sometimes things don't go my way and lately I've realized that it is because of these deep lacks within myself.
It looks like certain patterns are too rooted and stuck
