I've had a friend recommend this to me to help with my circulaton and heart problems. I'm quite happy to try anything (within reason!) if it'll help, but just wanted to see if anyone on here nows much about it?

Apparently, it helps "de-fur" blocked arteries and generally aids circulation. Having had a PE a few weeks ago, I'm o a combination of warfarin and aspirin, and a couple of statins (rosuvastatin and ezeterol), so just a bit wary that taking this on top would be detrimental to my normal meds.

Any thoughts please??

Love

Andy.

Hi Yorkman

There is an excellent article on serrapeptase at
Please read it carefully. If necessary copy it and take it to the Dr if you decide to use it. It has a very good reputation for prevention of illness in those who are susceptible to the problems mentioned. As the article says, nutritional aspects must be in place too, for it to work well - find a nutritional therapist at .

It has been recommended for me to use, but I haven't done so yet - on reading it again, must do so! Certainly, it would be the route of my choice rather than pharmaceuticals, except in emergency.

Let us know how you get on!

All the best

Caroline

You should be concerned about taking the supplement without first talking to either your GP or pharmacist, who would both be able to check out the ingredients to make sure there is no chance of interaction between the various chemicals/supplements - especially as you are on some fairly heavy duty meds at the moment.

If you are on a mixture of prescribed medication, as with any complementary, or 'natural remedy' it is always advisable to check with your doctor or pharmicist before proceeding.

A good quality source of Serrapeptase supplement does not normally adversley react with prescription medicines. Generally it does complement any other therapy. You made need to use a lower dose than the recommended to start with, to see how you go.

Serrapeptase is also available in combination with MSM and trace minerals to enhance enzyme activation.
