we've just developed a small infestation of ladybirds in our living room window...any ideas on natural ways to get rid of them and discourage them from coming back?
They are probably trying to find somewhere to hibernate. You could try the 'gentle eviction' method, and using a 2inch paintbrush, gently dislodge them into a jam jar, or plastic container, cover them up and then find a dark woody place to put them - we have an oak tree in our garden, and find them in the cracks of the main trunk - you could empty your little colony somewhere like that, and they will soon find somewhere to hide.

thanks...going to give them a few days, if they stay as they are we can house share but if more arrive we may well have to do as you suggest!
