Personally, I'll sleep better when there is a CCTV on every residential street and every residential front door (better yet, every door and window).
And when we have integrated chips in our brains linked to the Internet so that everyone knows when we are online (i.e. awake v asleep), and what we are thinking.
And that our brains are wired to a central databank telling us what to think and say and when to do so.

People who seek complete control over every aspect of our lives are the ones who profit from this paranoia, which is out of all proportion to the actual danger. About 50 people died in the July 7th London bombings. Terrible for all those involved, but a small fraction of the number killed in non-political crimes every year. This kind of overewaction is just what the terrrorists want- it is doing their job for them. We would never have survived World War Two if this kind of hysteria had prevailed then.
If in airport DON'T MENTION THE WORD BOMB! not allowed even to joke no! be very careful indeed. when I saw the warning last year I felt like not even think about it lol!
