going to give small talk to people this coming weds. I know one lady got pacemaker and one man got diabetes and is morbidly obese, had heart surgery in past and blood pressure bit high. I am confident if one of them win free treatment 15 mins at the talk it be ok but is there anything I should do to make sure they are ok as I believe reiki only does good so should be ok?
But some people say not for those with pacemakers and high blood pressure?

Hi,

They say to err caution with a pacemaker but I have read other books saying that its ok. You might have to mention to the person if they win the competition that it may unsettle the pacemaker, but I doubt it would. Reiki does no harm!!

As for high blood pressure, not a problem as long as its medically controlled as well as the diabetes as it says it may affect the insulin levels. I treat my mom who has High Bloood Pressure and also a high risk stroke victim and she is fine. She's also attuned to Reiki 1 and 2.

I have given reiki treatment to a man who has a pacemaker fitted.
he was fine.
I noticed his heart was very hungry for the reiki energy.
He was also attuned to level one.

I aslo knew someone living with diabetes who is a reiki master
she too was fine.

If you are using 'healing energy" why on earth should it matter what a person does or does not have. just because a book will say this or that it does not mean that it is right. Healing is simple!
My advice would be to step back from what you know or have read and take some time to think quietly about what you think healing is. It is your approach that can make all the difference; you are after all an individual with your own path to tread. Books and the words of others (including these) mean that we are looking outside ourselves for answers. The real understanding will come from what you feel inside, nurture it and learn to trust it:).
