Somerset Angel and I had the honour of attending Angie's very first workshop about 2 years ago. It was absolutely fantastic with all sorts of healers attending (Spiritual/Reiki etc). Angie and her husband Graham are such a lovely couple and so easy to get on with. The course was SO informative and helpful for any healer considering working in NHS hospitals. There were plenty of handouts, practical demonstrations (and LOT'S of laughter!) and a genuine sharing of knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend any healer considering this kind of work to book onto one of the workshops. It was worth every penny!

maybe everyone on this site has seen it already! I think it is really exciting when the 2 worlds collide & the allopathic mainstream admit there is huge value in what we do. Quote: 'experienced doctors calling for the healer to help while they put a canular into a childs arm'. I think it is amazing to hear! but I know not everyone shares this view.

Wow what a fantastic bit of film, very touching and brought tears to my eye's. I work in the NHS and we had complimentary health centre for a year (part of an experiment?) about 9 years ago, but sadly it is no longer, however seeing this has has given me some ideas about me offering Reiki to cancer patients (if they would want it) in my hospital.

Great go for it! I am trying to do the same where I am in the west country, if we just keep the patients in mind & how reiki might help them during a tough stay in hospital thats all the motivation we need. Also I believe Angie buxton & graham king's charity 'the sam buxton sunflower healing trust' will try to fund healers who get their foot in the door & are healing reiki or nfsh in hospitals around the country. so it worth a try ehh!
