Sorry if this is in the wrong place... being a Newbie and all I wasnt too sure. But since i have been a Reiki Master/Teacher I seem to have changed quite a bit, I can see and others have commented. I have also viewed other people very differently too and approach situations with a more laid back approach. So in this time I have encountered many changes. But even more so in my Reiki treatments. I am seeing more in the way of colours and my visualising is very clear. But recently i have been "guided" to (this is going to be explained very badly i can tell!!) to pull out like negativity or illness. Say i was working near the feet, i sometimes get the feeling that i need to pull out an imaginary cord of illness out of my client. On a few occassions the client after the session actually asked what i was doing near his feet because he could feel a sensation of pulling.
has anyone else experienced this??
Yes! All of what you describe I too have experianced. On those occasions when I "pull" or "lift" something out I always give it to Light and send it on its way with love.
I have done something similar or envisaged my thoughts going to it, the pulling seems to have felt more right than the lasering, i just have never felt comfortable doing that so i have gone more with my intuition there and the pulling out of the illness or negativity was meant to happen in my view.
I was reiki-ing my friend's throat area a couple of weeks ago, as she'd had a sore throat for several days - she'd not experienced reiki before, and said she felt like something was being pulled out of her throat (which surprised me!). She felt worse the next day, but the day after that she felt 100% better. So now I know this pulling sensation can happen and that other people feel it too! Thanks for posting about this.

I think it is great that you all have felt reiki work. I know what you eman about chnaging after becoming a reiki master/teacher. In my case, i have noticed that i can see people in my client's lives who are being negative towards them in my minds eye. I have also experienced my clients "floating" and after the treatment, they have asked me if i felt them floating....it's a strange feeling, but intuition tells me it is a good thing.

I think it is wonderful when we gain the confidence to follow our intuition during treatments, as we develope so does our healing. When I teach reiki I always say how important our intuition is, to trust the reiki energy. Especially once we become a reiki master we become the master, or rather strive to become the master of ourselves & must use our discernment to decide what is our stuff & what is the clients & what to do in new healing situations. Its exciting stuff! Great!

Yes I've seen clouds of what I understood to be "negative energy" rising from my client and have felt guided to pull them away and clear them with the Mental/Emotional symbol. The first time it happened I thought it was weird because it actually looked like physical fog, but since then I've seen with my physical eyes lots of other things as well. It's as if I can see physically on another frequency.
(I should add that sometimes I see pictures in my mind's eye, much like replaying a memory, and I have thought of these as being psychic abilities. With the negative energy, I see it just like I can see my computer screen.)
During one session I was working across the solar plexus area and I looked up at the client as I always do to check how they are and I knew for sure that I was not the only person giving healing at the point in time. I have felt this a few times as if I am not working along. On one particular person I felt as if there was someone stood at the crown all through the treatment, it felt absolutely wonderful and when I noticed this presence I felt a touch on my cheek, like a proper physical touch. This client afterwards before I even mentioned it said that she felt me working on one area abut knew someone was working on her crown area almost all through the therapy.

Yep - I get that too! I always get a visit from an Archangel or two when I am healing. Its usually Archangel's Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. There are quite often others there too. Its a wonderful sensation.
