Today, Christmas Eve, marks the 107th anniversary of the birth of a baby girl named: H. H. Kawamuru - better known to us as Hawayo H. Takata.
Were it not for Hawayo Takata, it is safe to assume that few if any of us Reiki-folk would have ever even heard of Reiki, let alone have had the opportunity to receive Initiation/Attunement and become practitioners of this wonderful Art.
With Gratitude

Many thanks to Mrs Takata for enabling us in the West to share the blessing of Reiki. Blessings to her, Usui sensei and all Reiki people in the world.
