I regard it as an infringement on my personal space if someone makes a comment saying something about my aura.

I feel really uncomfortable with the idea that someone can be looking at me and making a judgement about me this way.

Every minute of every day and every millisecond of every day....
who knows what our potential and our possibilities might be?

So, someone may be a strong rock gray one minute but does that mean to say that there isn't also the possibilities for being the dazzling shining colours of the shimmering rainbow the next minute?

So, what aura has a rainbow?

I just find the whole idea of auras limiting...
there is always the possibilities for us to be all and one of the colours always. We are not limited to what someone else can see...

I ask life and the Universe..
Show me the colours I can be...
Help me, live my potential
and open myself to the discovery of the possibilities,...

What colour are you who read?
The most wonderful colour of Love in the world.

Got to agree why would you want to see an aura, what’s the point! Its part of the canned and labeled approach to supposed spirituality. If you have any natural gifts allow them to develop naturally; then you will find that the results for you personally will be very rewarding.

Books are ok but they are all part of looking outside of yourself and as such can be very misleading. We all have innate gifts it’s a shame that people are in so much of a hurry to develop a gift after possibly being given a glimpse that just might be authentic.

If the gift that is revealed is authentic (seeing auras, healing or anything else) then what is shown to you by Spirit can and will be developed by Spirit if you have the courage and trust that will allow the process to unfold. There is no rush, you do after all have a lifetime.

Catherine what a good point it is an intrusion into your privacy; never thought of it that way.

Hi Flit and energyatwork

This thread has already been a bit narley at times so I hope this is taken in the spirit in which it was written which is one of interest in your opinion as it's made me think.

When I look at someone and see their aura whether I want to or not( it's not something I work on or consiously think about it just happens) it only gives me the same information I could pick up from their body language or what they are saying if I am actively listening to them.

For example if someone is arguing passionately I can see rasberry coloured balls of mist around them or if they are thinking whilst they are talking I see a blue mist. If a Judge is doing a serious sentence requiring authority or sensitivity they often have vivid kingfisher turquoise flashes around their arms and shoulders.

The lightshow is lovely to see but only part of the information that anyone can pick up.

I very much agree that everyones energy is constantly changing from second to second and therefore their aura is constantly changing too -

However from my experience we are giving off so much information verbally and non verbally anyway that anyone looking at your aura is not seeing anything not already obvious to anyone looking at you or listening to you.

I'm not sure if it's the title of Mark Smiths book - 'Aura's see them in 60 seconds' that has people no doubt sending out rasberry mist but it's a lovely book if you care to read it.

I think that the 60 Second bit makes it inclusive and that's why I like it - not just reserved for scholars, esoterics or saints but for everyone just like Reiki.

ta ra for now

Hi everyone,

I can see people's auras but only around their chest area. It only happens once every month or two and always takes me by surprise. I kind of forget about it the rest of the time. I think that I would like to try and develop this or know more about what it means if it can be beneficial in some way.

What do you think?
