Hello All, I am a Reiki level 2. To be honest I don't practise really anymore. It's been years now. However, I am spiritual and religious. I do meditation everyday and today I saw Dr Usui while meditating. I am not sure what does that mean. Can anyone help?

Why did you stop practising?

Seeing Usui in meditation does not signify anything per se. You saw him and that is it. If you saw a picture of him...would you have asked the same question? No. It would be absurd to ask the meaning of that but we do this all the time with when something darts through mind with eyes shut...we start wondering about its meaning and significance. Mind regurgitates stuff and non-sense all the time...that is what it does. Images, visions, thoughts, commentary, words, keep parading through it endlessly. Same keeps happening in shut eye sitting too. Thats all.
It is an interesting area you are discussing...
I think that sometimes visions do have meaning and purpose and are a form of message or guidance. I have attended a couple of psychic development/mediumship courses and found them really interesting. Bottom line is what you saw may have significance to you and may be a message for you. What we were told is to meditate on what we saw and see if anything comes to us - the images we see are personal to us and we generally will know what they mean if we are still long enough to understand the message.
I think it may be as simple as a nudge to take up Reiki again. Sometimes, people leave Reiki when life gets in the way. And then we find a way to get back in the flow.
I hope this helps 🙂
