For that reason alone I said we do what we do insurrender there is nothing special about any work that we do because if there is no ownership and doership it is all HIS work, HIS world, HIS doing alone.

So why put your name to it Jnani/Ruby, why charge anyone anything for your shaktipat which apparently you're 'skilled' enough as an individual to confine and compartmentalize the transmission of to the pages of a £200+ manual; and to confine and compartmentalize to an organized appointments diary! How does that work? How do you DO that: Divinity on long bank holiday weekends 9am until 3pm, but no divinity Mon - Wed unless by pre-arranged appointment! Yes, the divine light is everywhere - and yet Jnani/Ruby has corralled a section of divinity in these unique shapes, putting her stamp all over it.....

Flow of existence has no compartments/departments of any kind It is just one continuity. Light and darkness is of mind.

If gardens, nurses, garbageman, brickies and the whole caboodle are essential for smooth flow and are playing in the lap of God... doing whatever, all the same no heirarchy/divisions other than in mind - then why not look for a position in a shreddies factory knitting shreddies until you stop seeing grannies; stop seeing smugness in certain people (hello Paul); lose that sneery/mine-thine/divisional attitude you have towards personal development; and stop seeing pretentious fighters where there is only god at play 😉

So the energy worker is a light worker and so are medical doctors, nurses, gardener, farmer is a bricky, garbage man, lorry driver for every role is essential for smooth flow. The Physical is subtle energy and energy is subtle matter. No divisions. One. All is one organic unity beating together.

All playing in the lap of god...doing whatever, all the same no heirarchy/divisions other than in mind

You go back to each post, website, what I have said, what I do... quite off topic issues.

In the name of honesty and questioning you can say what you like, you are free to say what you like girl, as is everyone else!. Fine by not only me, by most on the forum. Enjoy your show Strawberry!

I see that the discussion has move forward at a pace and it is relevant to the original question of are we lightworkers. 🙂

Everyone is creating their own unique life experience around their own unique underlying thought patterns and beliefs, so if we replace our core way of being with Omega1's path and Jnani's surrender, then although they appear to be saying different things, the reality is that they are saying the same thing.

The law of attraction says that if you tell yourself a zillion times a day that you are a millionaire that you will become one, now that can happen if your core way of being believes that you are worthy and capable of becoming one and are prepared to work towards becoming one, but if you do not believe in your core way of being that you are worthy or capable of becoming a millionaire, so just sit still and repeat to yourself that you are a millionaire a zillion times a day, then you will get what your core way of being is creating for you.

So the reality is that Jnani is correct for those who's core way of being is open to change, then by telling themselves that they are going to be a millionaire and setting about to create that experience, will activate the potential to achieve their goal, but Omega1 is also correct for those that have locked their core way of being, then by telling themselves that they are going to be a millionaire and doing nothing about it, will be disappointed.

It is the same with Stephanie's question, are we lightworkers, the answer is that we can be whatever we choose to perceive ourselves to be, as long as that is in accordance with our core way of being, then we will set about creating the experience, I think that the question that jumped to mind when I read the original question was, why would someone choose to perceive themselves as a lightworker rather than just being themselves?

You go back to each post, website, what I have said, what I do... quite off topic issues.

The old Off Topic bone of contention again... if you're referring to this particular topic - I really don't see it. Light.... working with light.... divisions of mind.....

And going back to each post and website what you've said:- If we were all in a physical building (The HP building), circulating around the building moving from room to room talking - The Philosophy Room (the Philosophy Forum); The Reiki & Energy Healing Room (The Reiki & Energy Healing Forum) then I would remember what you (or anyone else) said back in the General Discussions Room (the General Discussions forum) or whichever room, and naturally make reference to it - whether it happened yesterday or last year. And I often link the reference with a hyperlink so that the thread will make sense to anyone who reads through it at some point in the future......

In the name of honesty and questioning you can say what you like, you are free to say what you like girl, as is everyone else!. Fine by not only me, by most on the forum. Enjoy your show Strawberry!

Enjoy your show? I don't know what you mean......... is there popcorn available somewhere (haha) Is this you getting huffy about anyone being anything but congenial again, only if it is I have to admit that it isn't what I'd expect of a living Buddha. And, I would be the same with you in person, or the same with anyone else making these claims about their self.... not gazing up at them with unquestioning adoration, but giving their plinth a good shake, to see if it was rooted in firm foundations.

Good luck

Thanks.......:);)

Yes, Paul - I understand what you're saying...:)

Wouldn't Stephanie be the best person to ask - no need to contemplate (necessarily), Stephanie is available for discussion....

Very good point Paul. What do you think about the factor that occurs to me that to become a millionaire requires a level of intellect/talent/ability/motivation/dedication and the person wishing to become a millionaire is lacking in one or more of those areas? This is what I mean by saying something has to be within one's path to be achievable. We do not have unlimited potential, we have potential limited by our path (e.g. intellect/abilities/deficiencies/genetic make-up/conditioning/experiences/opportunities/location/environment/upbringing... etc)

I am not sure why I keep getting updates? I log out and change my settings to "no email".

Maybe it was meant to be. Before I try AGAIN to cut the cord of connection to this chatroom...I will response to some of the comments.

WHY WOULD I WANT TO BE ANYTHING OTHER THAN MYSELF?
I'm stunned by the question and it's lack of understanding of the journey. We forget who we are and what our mission is when we are born. I am just waking up (it's a process) and trying to connect to my true self and my mission.

Why would you (and there were 2 of you) want me to settle down behave and be a Reiki master/teacher while you move on and become...

THE PROBLEM IS...
I had no problem...I was asking the people on this chatroom if their perception of themselves was like unto the definition of lightworker.
The problem is (as I see it) some people are so blinded and deadened by their own greatness and philosophies that they can neither see or hear anything else. They jump and define others words into their own limitated theorys and try to set those limitations on what they perceive as a lessor individual needing correction.

And they say it with such kindness and with such an air of parenting that it could almost be missed for what it is. A HUGE sense of superiority and spiritual and psychic one upmanship.

There are a couple of people on here that are truly kind and understanding of who I am. I send loving gratitude to you. Please find me through my website link. I welcome your friendship.

I believe have committed myself to be a lightworker before I came here. If you look at the pure definition...it's simple. To bring light and kindness to those around you...with love, healings, forgiveness, comfort, peace...what ever is your talent. These last few months have been a difficult awakening. My reality cracked and broke open at the seams. I only seek peace in my life so I can do my mission. I have no room for contention or other's trying to ....

Whatever...I don't need to say more. I will again try to disconnect the cord to this chatroom.

Happy for you Stephanie. You are done here at least on this. Kindness, cruelity, harshness, criticism, arguement etc... everything else in the mix has brought about whatever was needed.
May peace and love flow freely. Its not you looking for God, He alone looks out for you. He is calling out and you are responding. A heart full of trust is ever
in loving care of divine.

Hi Omega1

Very good point Paul. What do you think about the factor that occurs to me that to become a millionaire requires a level of intellect/talent/ability/motivation/dedication and the person wishing to become a millionaire is lacking in one or more of those areas? This is what I mean by saying something has to be within one's path to be achievable. We do not have unlimited potential, we have potential limited by our path (e.g. intellect/abilities/deficiencies/genetic make-up/conditioning/experiences/opportunities/location/environment/upbringing... etc)

I do not see that myself, there are multi millionaires who cannot read or write and have very little in the way of formal education, but they have a way of creating wealth that is outside of the normal business models that are in abundance.

Some are happy to create wealth and then lose it so that they have the opportunity to recreate it once more from nothing, often it is not the accumulation of wealth that is important for we can only spend it or give it away, it is the experience of creating it from nothing that is the driving force of the creation.

The reality is that we all have unlimited creative potentiality that is under the direction of our core way of being or underlying thought patterns and beliefs, it is not a potential that is limited by some predetermined path that is forced upon us, as such a path does not exist unless we choose to create and embrace it within self, but it is simply down to if we believe that something is possible or not and if we believe that we are capable of doing it or not that determines if we empower or disempower ourselves, we have to perceive that something is possible for us before we can set about creating it. 🙂

It is the same with healing, if at a core level someone does not believe that it is possible for someone to heal and healers invite them to their classes to show them that it is possible, then it will not matter how many healing classes they undertake or what they see other healers do, they will constantly disempower themselves from becoming a healer, because they do not believe that it is possible to heal. It is not that they do not possess the creative potentiality to learn to perform healing because everyone has the potential, it is simply that they keep telling themselves that they can't heal, the reality is not that they can't heal, it is simply that they won't heal because it goes against their core underlying beliefs. 😉

Hello Stephanie

If you are still monitoring this post I just wanted to ask something, you mentioned you committed to become a lightworker before you came here and mentioned about 'having a mission'.

In kind respects may I ask how you came to believe you have a mission? How did you know you made a choice to be a lightworker before arriving here? You mentioned 'just waking up'. In my experience I found some people experience a feeling of awakening after a life affecting experience.Do you feel an experience as this may have contributed to your 'waking'?

Just waking up can certainly be a confusing time as explored further in my first post. Finally your comment 'Trying to connect to my true self', I agree, this is certainly a journey and in my view with no estimated time of arrival.:( I found at certain moments in life I have experienced what seemed to be 'an arrival', only to find this was just a step of many.

Stephanie I don't want to come across as preaching undermining your current knowledge and awareness but I try to express my thoughts in my own way as others do in theirs. Why did I need to say this? because in one way I don't want to contribute to your experience on HP as you have felt in yourself, but also I don't wish to trigger any further upset for you and I as yourself wish to help others as yourself in my own way.

In the 'Just awakening' phase I found at times conflicting with others beliefs and experiences because I found the just becoming awakened can inflate the ego to an extent that only what I knew was right and nothing else could replace it!. Consider for a moment what was triggering your reactions in your further posts? re read my first post which may offer some insight?.

Do I believe I am here on a mission as a lightworker? If you asked me at the early stages of my own awakening I would have said "without a doubt", however the years passed, many times experiencing the highs and lows of growing, the sharp realities faced, here today I would say "No".

Could I explain to you why I believe I am not a lightworker? No?. Today all I can say is that I felt I have grown to this point, no longer carrying the lightworker belief, yet I no longer feel the confusions, the need to change others lives the way I believed at the time must be right for them, the ego believing I was a world saver, etc.

I just feel now a sense of ...well I suppose an arrival...an arrival of contentment, deeper compassion, inner wisdom and peace.

I no longer have the desires of a lightworker . Today I just accept myself as I am and what life is. but it took a journey 'up the spiraling mountain 'to get to this point;).

At this moment in writing I just had the thought that I find today by not striving and trying to be seems to have the most affect on helping others around me. I am just being me without the veils which I no longer have a need or value anymore. A sense of genuineness maybe?

Take Care

Sacrel:)

Again you raise some interesting and valid points Paul. I have given thought to your perspective and I think the point you say: "...we all have unlimited creative potentiality that is under the direction of our core way of being or underlying thought patterns and beliefs... is simply down to if we believe that something is possible or not and if we believe that we are capable of doing it or not that determines if we empower or disempower ourselves..." is one area where I think we are in practise limited. There are aspects of ourselves (I include physical appearance/abilities) that control how we are and how we think/act/re-act... etc I think these aspects are the limitations we have and these are dictated by a number of factors, many of which are beyond our control. Yes there are ways that some people can change some of these aspects, but most people do not and many I believe cannot. That is why I believe we are all limited in what we can have/achieve.

Hi Omega1

It is good to see that you are starting to perceive things differently. 🙂

Yes but even the physical limitations can in some way be overcome, we just need to look at the paralympics or Stephen Hawkins for inspiration in that department. 🙂

But rather than thinking of the physical appearance or current abilities controlling how we are and think etc, we have to accept that the self perception that we choose to create is a part of our underlying thought patterns and beliefs, we might not always be able to change our physicality, but we can always choose to change our judgemental self perceptions and the self disempowering way of being that they often create within us. 🙂

If we consider the case of people with multiple personality disorder, there are recorded cases where someone who is in expression of one persona requires insulin to survive, whilst when they embrace a different persona they do not require it, another person required glasses to see in one persona but had perfect vision in another persona, the physicality is the same for both persona's, but the underlying thought patterns and beliefs (core way of being) that are attached to the different persona's are not the same, so they create a completely different experience depending upon which persona is embraced and expressed. 🙂

Hi Stephanie

I have just received this PM from you which I tried to respond to by PM but you appear to have blocked me from responding, so I will post it and answer it on the thread. 🙂

It did not go un noticed that you hijacked the lightworkers thread.

Suprising behavior for a moderator.

I have gotten direct emails from people saying this done regularly and so they no longer participate on the chatroom.

Hi Stephanie

I have reread this thread and do not understand what you have put, with the exception of replying to the questions put directly to me by Omega1 my posts were on topic and even when responding to Jnani's and Omega1's posts, I tried to bring it back onto topic.

In a discussion everyone is entitled to put in their understanding, and agree or disagree as they choose as long as they do not start personally attacking other members, which unfortunately happened with one member on the thread and they are no longer in a position to do so, though they can obviously still email members off the forum. 🙂

I would have been happy to continue discussing what you were saying in this discussion and still am, I prepared a reply to your latest post yesterday, but you said that you wanted to leave the discussion, so I did not post it.

That was a private message. I have requested that the administrator remove your post.

If you can not see that the discussion about the law of attraction belonged on another thread, and ended any futher discussion (by others) on lightworkers, then you are missing something. And I really wanted to hear what OTHER people had to say.

This contention is delaying my growth. It makes my spirit quake.

Hi Stephanie,

I can kind of see why you perceive the law of attraction aspect to be be going off topic, but I think it has come from part of this discussion on lightworkers, because of the way in which some people can choose to attract limiting beliefs (whether consciously or not). You asked if people consider themselves to be lightworkers, but many here choose not to limit themselves with such labels as, the minute you place a label on something with an "I am this" or "I am that" concept, then you are seperating yourself from being everything you can possibly be, and putting yourself in a box limited by the label.

As you say, you feel you are on a journey with a mission to do, and if you find that, at this moment in time, you want to consider yourself as being the "lightworker" label and doing whatever that entails in your understanding of the label, then that's great... that's part of what you choose to be at this moment in time. I think earlier in the thread someone said that you may reach a point where you become a Reiki Master Teacher, and I don't think that was telling you that that was what you should aim to become, but rather that that may be a point where you choose you have reached your aim... but again it may not be (and I understand you've already been attuned to the various levels of Reiki and done a lot of reading up on it, but actually becoming a true master of Reiki is to become a true master of one's Self, and isn't just an attunement and certificate etc... it's a way of life, so I think that may be where they were coming from in saying that, rather than telling you that's where you should be).

In terms of law of attraction, I feel that came about in the discussion due to omega1 trying to understand how people can make choices and become what they want or achieve what they want (reaching enlightenment perhaps?), when some things indeed would seem far out of people's reach (like becoming a millionaire), but in reality choosing to attract those things is not out of anybody's reach if they choose to really want to do that... it may not happen overnight, but it can happen, and the steps to get there may be small and progressive, and that includes a journey such as you perhaps perceive yourself on. So I think the concept some people have of how we can limit beliefs and choices, and the concept of expanding those choices with LOA (or otherwise) fits in with the idea of choosing to be a lightworker.

You've chosen to perceive yourself as a lightworker, but what does that really mean? We all have different ideas about it. Why not label yourself as an energy worker instead as, in the literal sense, there is more to energy work than there is to light work (if we consider light to be that which makes things visible to us). Why not just label yourself as a "healer" and ecompass all possibilities of healing? And I think that's the point people were making... by saying "Are we lightworkers?" is like saying "are we different from other people?" or "are we better than other people because we can give healing?" etc. Not that people are going to take any offence at the labels, but because people have different understanding about them.

Clearly you perceive yourself as seperate from "the source" or whatever you choose as a label and that's fine if that's you're belief, and I think some conflict has arisen because some people are taking from a point of Being at One with everything (i.e. not seperate from source) whereas you do not perceive that as a possibility. Only you can choose what is right or wrong, as that is where you are at yourself. Nobody can tell you the answer, you have to experience it yourself to actually know it.

It was interesting to see you say:

OBVIOUSLY...the regulars here don't think that they are or are part of the lightworker movement. That was my question.

I don't think that's the case, as to be honest you haven't actually defined what you really mean by your understanding of the "lightworker" label, and as I said before, many don't want to limit themselves to saying "I'm a part of this and not that". I think it would certainly be fair to say that many of the people here have a similar understanding and desire (to use the term loosely) to aim to be non-judgemental, loving, caring, healing etc. It is perhaps just because people have different models of understanding; using different terminology; that we end up creating such diverse discussions to try and understand each other.

Your initial question could have easily been answered by most here to say "Yes we are all part of the lightworkers movement" in their own understanding of it (some being limited within the movement and some considering the movement as just a part of what they do)... but that wouldn't make for much discussion, or much understanding of each other and the different ways people perceive things.

To me, it's certainly been an interesting discussion (so far, I'm interested to hear what others have to say too), full of varied ideas and philosphies, and whilst it may seem a little 'heated' at times, I think that's mainly due to people just trying to garner futher understanding from others. I hope you find you can re-read the thread and see how varied and interesting different people's perspectives are, and how essentially most people are talking about the same thing... just in different ways.

All Love and Reiki Hugs
