Hi,

I trained with ITEC around 5 or so years ago but didn't take it any further. I am thinking now might be a better time for me to take it forward but am I still qualified does anyone know?

Thanks for your help.

Yes if you passed your ITEC qualification and have your certificate then you are qualified to get your insurance and become a member of a professional body. If you are feeling a bit rusty you can always offer family and friends treatments to get your confidence back, or maybe attend a CPD or refresher course to update your skills 🙂 Tracey

Yes you are still qualified, but you will need to present some CPD. I would strongly advise doing some anyway, as you'll find there's been a lot of research into things like therapist ergonomics to save our bodies, as well as in physiology-related stuff eg myofascial release, stretching, trigger points etc. as well as with aromatherapy chemistry. Check out Nikki Lee in Newbury/Kingsclere: she does some great one day courses.
