Hi all
I had my first ever Kinesiology treatment on Tuesday, since when I've felt far more comfortable within myself than I have for a long time. My problem, if you can call it that, is that I've had a massive craving for oranges ever since. Don't seem to be able to get enough of them.
Any ideas?
RE: After-effects of treatment
I have no ideas other than to say when I get cravings such as this after a treatment it is usually because it is something my body needs. Did the pracitioner test your vitamin and mineral levels? It could be that your body is craving the vitamin C, or something else that oranges contain. Any kniesiologists here?

RE: After-effects of treatment
It would depend on how you where treated or what it was that they treated you for.
With any cravings - it's either the very thing that you need (healthy cravings) or the very thing that you are allergic or hypersensitive to. [sm=scratchchin.gif]
Of the citrus fruits - oranges are generally thought to be the worst offenders to those that suffer with too high (hyper) acidity & associated allergies. [:'(]
As it followed a treatment that may have cleared a hypersensitive reaction to vitamin C & acid fruits, then my guess would be that you're system is making up for lost ground.
I stress that, that is a guess! Equally, I should point out that applied kiniesiology, like may holistic therapies, that treatment is like working through the layers of an onion. You deal with one issue, then the next rises up & becomes the priority, until your thru. [sm=dance.gif]
Ultimately you should discuss this with your therapist and be assured that the treatment shifted something to have a reaction like this. 😉
Good luck - And. 🙂
RE: After-effects of treatment
Thanks both. This was "verbal kinesiology" if that makes sense. So still the usual muscle testing but slightly different from what I'd seen of the therapy before.
The last time I had a serious craving for oranges was during my pregnancies with the boys. That would make sense since babies are the perfect parasites, so it's highly possible that my vitamin C needed bolstering then. And as someone who's only recently managed to give up smoking (hooray!) I probably needed the VitC anyway. It's settled down now.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to fit in another appointment due to the hours the guy works, but I'd love to go again. It was great.

Orange juice is also very high in potassium.
