Hi,
I've found that taking Rhus tox is very effective for my muscular problems (having tried everything else). If I stop taking it - the problems come back. The only other option would be to take strong drugs which i don't want to do.
The homepath I see is happy that i'm taking this Rhus tox which i buy over the counter. However I've read on these threads that taking too much over time can have the opposite or no effect. When i mentioned this to my homepath (who is qualified by the way) she did say that less it best but said that you can take homepathic tablets over along period of time.
Help - I'm confused !![&:]
RE: Homeopathy - how much to take ?
Hello
It's best really, to talk it over again with your homeopath.
It can be confusing- and quite hard to explain- but if you take loads of a remedy, it can occasionally brieflyaggravate the condition- but that's a complex issue- and I would expect your homeopath to be overseeing the amount you're taking and advising you accordingly.
As a general point of advice- if you find that your symptoms unexpectedly get worse, instead of improving, after the remedy, just stop taking it. Also, don't repeat a dose until you need to. i.e. until there's pain again.
Hopefully, your homeopath is aiming for you to have a deeper acting remedy at some point, so that you'll need less rhus tox and have a longer period free of symptoms.
